This is one of my favorite JOurney songs along with Ask the Lonely. I'm only 14, but Journey by far my favorite classic rock band. Although Perry is a huge contributor to journey's success, I think everyone should give arnel a chance. I know he's not steve perry, and no one will ever be but he does have a good voice.

For those thinking Steve wrote this to some girl, it was the keyboard player that wrote the song. Steve like many singers decided he was too big for his britches and left. Those arguing about him vs Arnel show they are not musicians. Nothing wrong with liking both or having a preference...but to make a comment every other comment is lame. Yes, Filipino. I still agree, SP is better and no one can match up his great voice, but I'm proud of AP, because he is now the lead vocalist of the present Journey. And I am hoping for the Journey to become successful with him and hope they will be able to do songs that suited them with AP.

I think it's fine if you want to enjoy Arnel Pineda. It's also considerable that some Americans won't like him because he is Filipino, but I, personally, became a fan of Journey because of Steve Perry and his voice. For me, Arnel is an imitation that's good, but not close enough for me. I am not a singer, he is talented, and if you miss Perry and the old days of Journey and songs, you might go to Pineda. Pineda is capitalizing on nostalgia. He needs new material that will make him a star
