I never played the first FF game when it came out and the only FF game I played was FF Mystic Quest and that was a decent game.My friend dowloaded (or something) FF 1 and 2 on my PSP and I got the chance to play them both and I enjoyed them.

I've never understood why people bitch over a game being on multiple platforms. It just means that the game is going to do better when there are more people who are able to get it. What is so great in exclusive titles?

As for picking only one from the series...that's just weird. I personally love every single one from the first ten. Sure I have my favourite too, but that doesn't make the others any worse or not worth loving.

FFXIII is my favorite final fantasy. why? the story. best out of all of them imo. well, and the battle mechanics. and when i asked in a comment section of a trailer for FFXIII versus, which is gonna be PS3 exclusive, why it wasn't going to be on the 360, he just said that "he is creating this game focusing on art, not money." while that is understandable, take a look at assassins creed brotherhood. the best graphics i have seen in a VG. the 360 can handle that, not that it matters.

first of all, if a game goes multi-platform it typically earns more money. The fanboys dont want it to be on 360, meaning they dont want square enix to earn more money.

I can agree with Hellsing's viewpoint on videogame remakes, and how most of the time they are not worth the effort of the gaming companies.

Take Goldeneye 007 (Wii) for instance, there are so many paradoxes in the game that make it completely alien to what Goldeneye is all about. And when I played the game, I wondered 'How the fuck is this remake relevant to Goldeneye64 and the film? I'm sorry Nintendo, I think I will stick with the original than throw away $60 to your greedy asses.'

And I will agree to some extent that Goldeneye Wii looks more like Call of Duty instead of a standalone first person shooter. Hell, even Homefront, and Wolfenstein (2009 game) looked more like Call of Duty instead of trying something new and original.

But in the end, Nintendo is the bigger company, and they will be the ones getting most of the profits from Goldeneye Wii.
