  • This is a great talk!

  • He's saying you only have 100 years to experience the goodness of life. But what if you could experience it through Christ for eternity? Everything he's saying here is true, but instead of letting YOUR heart lead you, why not let HIS heart lead you. Instead of just being awesome for yourself why dont you experience true joy by being awesome for Jesus. If you think I'm nuts, I'm just the messenger, I'm just giving you an opportunity to really invest in something that matters beyond your 100 years

  • @lukethmgnficent

Thanks, but no thanks. I appreciate your loyalty, though.

  • Beautiful!

  • I was told its not about saying your awesome. it is about doing awesome things until one day you are awesome them. at that point your life will be full of truely kick ass awesome moments and only then you have lived a fucking awesome life.

  • I thought his name was TED

  • Excellent message. Well done!

  • Excellent message! Well done!

  • I count myself lucky I don't understand the negative reations posted here.

  • I admire him for his humbleness and simplicity. A person with these attributes knows that sky is his limit. We all have Neil Pasricha's message, hidden deep in our minds, just waiting to be acknowledged. It's only when someone faces gruelling hardships, he comes to recognize the small little things that make up a life, and learn to value them. Kudos to you, Neil!

  • you are an incredible person. keep doing what you're doing please.

  • "they had their first kids" As opposed to their second kids ;)

  • "Which African Country do you want me to wire all my money to?" haha.

  • I'm 5 and I don't know where we are

  • Hes a great guy. Very inspiring.

  • That talk was awesome...Very inspiring...

  • Let me save you all 18 minutes and give you all you need to know about living an awesome life.

Carpe diem. Now go do something you want to do. Enjoy all the little things and find the joy each moment brings no matter what situation you're in. Life can be hard but you can choose whether the difficulties are bad or good.

Now...go do something worth doing because you may never get another chance.

  • simply awesome!!

  • Love it <3 _ <3

and yeah..u left me with the open thoughts :)

    thank u

  • two people hate life

  • Brilliant, I think we can all be reminded of the little joys of life and it bears repeating in our era of gloomy news and difficult lives...

  • Very inspiring talk. Definitely a must watch especially those who are currently down on their luck.

  • My inner 3 yr old perspective views this as "Awesome"

Thank you Orla.... for turning me on to this. ☮ ☯ ♫ ❥

  • oh that was really great

i stumbled upon the blog and watched this some minutes after.

my best friend committed suicide some months ago and i stopped looking at the world with enjoyment a long time ago... its so IMPORTANT to love the small things to be amazed every day by all those wonders around us. can you imagine how complex and still elegant the world is? i hope that one day i can look at the world again and feel overwhelmed with joy - as long as i am not there i will visit his blog :)

  • Incredibly inspiring. I'm going through some mildly tough times and it's easy when you're wrapped up in it to be overwhelmed by something that doesn't even deserve space in your brain. Thank you so much. Your blog reminds me every day of all the awesome in the world.

  • Wow Amazing...

  • So inspiring (:

    Thank you.

  • Hes sexy.

  • As he notes happiness is seeing the world through the eyes of a 3 year old. Look at the world anew each moment.

Cool story about Rosy Grier. He grew up a few towns over from me. Always remember the needlepoint thing, the dude marched to the beat of his own drum,

Wonderful video! Thanks for sharing :)

    Ryan

  • Not only the shortest 18min of my life but also this is inspiring!

  • Epic.

  • "You'll never be as young as you are now"

  • if i was a man i would give this speech in a heartbeat.

  • awesome , but unfortunately there is a majority who cheer him and just a minority who act as he said and the contrast is here : that guys don need this kind of speech cause they r happy by themselves... these beautiful speech is a kinda paregoric ...

  • Wow. I had tears and laughs while watching this. Time to think over what I have let myself go through all these years.....

  • great talk man!

  • This was by far the best speech I ever heard. Neil you are amazingly awesome and thank you for your blog. This gave me chills and just made me happy so thank you.

  • Gah, I have chills it was that amazing. It is making me realize that I could have done so many more things in high school.

  • I loved the speech!

The only thing that made me go 'aww, noo' was when he said:

"all the teachers you've had, everyone that has ever woken up beside you, everyone you love, everyone in this room..." *expecting a nice comment about love* "will be dead in a 100 years" :(

  • What an excellent speaker! Neil has been incredibly inspirational to me & this is a great speech, what a wonderful person.

  • Inspiring - life's little smiles!

So I thank you for your website, your book, and now your speech.. it was AWESOME!

  • Well done Neil!! When you looked like you were going to cry, I wanted to hug ya : ) You've made the world a better place XD

  • FABULOUS TALK! I'm definitely guilty of letting that little negative voice inside get too loud sometimes, and thinking about this talk will definitely help me to push it back down and smile even when things are tough. :)

  • @cherryberry360 I actually saw him here first, than took it to his blog and now I'm here as a remembrance.......
