its true that you can see the extra scenes on youtube, but the quality in no way matches the DVD quality, if you just want to see the scenes and don't care its cool to just check them out, but you have to admit it looks better on the DVD

Only get it if you don't own the first movie. I got that X-Men 1.5 DVD only because I didn't get the movie before, and all copes of that version are hard to come by.

Movie studios do that only when a sequal is ready to hit theaters, it enhances the hype even more for the sequel. Case in point: X-Men 1.5 DVD...had to be done to over hype the anticipation of X2: X-Men United.
