My Gosh, what a powerful song.. I think we've all had special ones in our lives that just seem to get lost in this sort of thing and never return to the wonderful person that we once knew. I have many a friend that I grew up with that have now given up on life..I see them and look into their eyes and just want to say." Are you still in there somewhere?...that person I once knew.?" so sad.
@plowboyes Thanx you Winston for your comment on my song. You are so right, I have seen that in a couple of my friends thru the years and I do believe they are still in there somewhere fighting to be free,. Thank you again Winston, May God Bless you as well.
Fine tune -- thankfully most of us don't ever realize the price of substance abuse --- some close friends have had the last 15 years of their lives utterly destroyed buy a child who became addicted at 12....still now at 27 has still not hit bottom........
