  • i love red wing shoes

  • 1:29 look thats all that holds the sole of the boot to the upper a little glue

  • Timberland boots like these are so damn expensive, why are the damn soles glued on and not stitched? I can go to Sears spend $39 dollars and buy the exact style of boots and the soles are stitched on and save $100. The uppers on Timberlands are a great simple efficient design but for $140 I want the soles to be more than just glued to the upper.

  • Silly people.. docs are shit..

    go redwings

  • @killerwill55 red wings to clunky and heavy and i aint feeling that white sole

  • I bought some timberlands and returned them because I noticed the soles were not stitched like they used to be. I bought Doc Martens instead. Timberlands like Toyota has losts their roots. Quality is shit.

  • @healthjunkie1 dr martens way better, i used to buy tims until i found dms lol

  • @healthjunkie1 They used to stitch the soles on Timberland's? I really like Timberland but soles that are glued on don't inspire confidence in my footwear espescially if I want to do some deepwoods backpacking and have the soles of 140 dollar Timberland boot seperate from the upper :(

  • @whereskim89 Yes, they used to. At least 10 years ago or more. Buy Dr. Martins instead. They still stitch.

  • @healthjunkie1 I love Doc Martens they are great boots especially for hiking, I prefer the old school design similar to paratroop boots. But don't you think Timberlands are a ripoff considering they just use the glue and no stitch and the price is still like $140

  • They probably do it this way so people will have to shell out another $160. they need to learn from Doc Martens and stitch the soles on

  • or maybe this is a intentional defect so people will have to shell out $160 for another pair of boots. They should do it right the first time and stitch the damn soles on, none of this glue shit.

  • fucking nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • in malaysia its cost us about RM600 plus.. and thats about 200 dollars..

  • great boots. I got my Timberland purchased from Dubai 7 years ago but the tags says it was made in China. I still use it till now here in Manila. :D

  • I see great craftsmanship regardless of nation, but how dependable can shoes be if the sole is just glued to the boot?

  • @whereskim89 trust me thats why doc martens are better

  • @bAKwoodZ354 I agree Doc Martens are better constructed I did a few 34 mile hikes in dm's . Already I see that the sole is coming off my tims, the glue part is crap other than that Timberlands are great as anything out there except no stitching. Learn from Doc Martens
