I think it's cuz in Egypt, they generally don't allow the dancer to show her belly (according to my mom). Even when it's the usual outfit, they'll have nude-colored fabric or something else over the belly. At least that's from all the dancers I've seen. And frankly, I loved it a lot more than a lot of the other outfits, with exceptions, of course. :3
@linwuzhay. Yeah, we call those a 'galabeya'. I love the way the right one moves with the body, it's absolutely brilliant. The hip scarf has to be my absolute favorite thing to dance with, as opposed to the 'professional' outfits.
At times she looks like a drag, a wanna be Hafia, i guess she couldnt make it as a singer, shes not that great, beautiful figure, dances thess days just sake their ass...btw the dress is ugly.

She's very beautiful, has a great stage presennce and is a very good bellydancer as well. I think though her costume isn't all that good, it looks like it's a hinderance and isn't a good one for belly dancing. it does show her amazing figure very nicely though.

@Ethyogptn ya that and traditional Egyptian folk dances were always in a dress like thing with a hip scarf then it changed to a bra and skirt later
