The footage isnt overly exciting. But that does look like a beautiful race. Beautiful scenery as well. Did you ever find out what was up with the guy at 8 min.? just curious. Thanks for the post.
@fernlunddk1 LOL. Out of shape 46 year olds on 14 year old trail bikes aren't too exciting. I'll give that one to you. It was a fun race and a fantastic venue though. They definitely have something here if the 2nd annual race makes the Western National Hare Scramble schedule, and is on the schedule again for this year. It was a VERY fun race to attend. No idea what happened to the guy on the ground. He said he was fine and someone was coming for him, so I continued on in my race.
@Mchitheguy I guess it depends on your perspective. I'm one of those that would chose mud over dust any day. Yes, some spots were a little slick, but there were no mud holes to try to blaze through or around so it seemed ideal to me.
@Mchitheguy Not sure how it effected the rock garden, but the rain sure helped the rest of the course. We did a pre-run lap Saturday night and the course was a silty dust that was just miserable. With the overnight rains the B course was perfect IMO.
Passing all those liquid cooled bikes on the Ol' XR! Nice!

Did the B class have to do the rock garden?
Mchitheguy 11 months ago
@Mchitheguy No, just the AA and A classes. I would have liked to have tried it once, but not multiple times in a race situation.

Is that the same course that the 250 B rides?
Mchitheguy 11 months ago
@Mchitheguy Yes it is.
