you see people, in the original 1977 theatrical version Han Solo was a heartless bitch, shooting the control panel with no provocation, a complete out of character move for a major hero in the film. With this subtle change by George Lucas, we now see it as he had to kill the control panel in self defence.

It's the dumbest thing ever and this video is making fun of the editing in the Special Edition that now shows Greedo shooting first so Han is not evil anymore.

Most other directors are smart enough to leave what worked perfectly well in the theater, alone. Lucas is not that smart, and the prequels are evidence that he has surrounded himself with 'yes' men who tell him everything he does it great and he thinks he can do no wrong.
