Like theratfarmer said, this is Jan Hammer score from the tv show. The first part with the flutes sounds like the middle of 'Colombia'; the later part is 'Golden Triangle'.

Apparently Olmos was the only one they asked to be in the 2006 movie; Olmos as Castillo and Fox and Ferrel as new vicers. Since Olmos said no, they decided to just have Fox and Ferrel play Crockett and Tubbs. A shame, wouldve made more sense that way.

Great video. A good episode with Castillo playing a main part is "The Rising Sun Of Death" from season four. Castillo was one of the things that made the show so great if there were problems in between the vice squad.

I think the Castillo theme you hear around :42 - 1:29 is different than the version you'd get from the Jan Hammer Miami Vice album. What is played here in this trailer is different than the album version. It sounds like this was taken straight from an episode, not Hammer's CD.
