  • Thanks for the video, without thinking about the thing, about two years ago I stopped chewing gum (And I LOVE it) because I noticed that every time I started I began to have trouble breathing well, and today my kids begged me for a Jucy Fruit gumption the supermarket... I looked at the ingredients and there it was and it was on every single package, I didn't buy it but I get really mad that you have no choice! Your video is very nice and informative. Thanks! Peace :)

  • @mavieespinosa You are very kind, thank you.

  • apparently cinnamon flavored gums do not have aspertame.

  • i dont eat anything with E950 and E951 because i get sick and i only eat stimorol original that is the good one!!!!!

  • That is what annoys me. Almost everyone is aware that cigarettes and alcoholic drinks can be harmful. But they slip all of these harmful sweeteners in your food, without your knowledge.

Recently I bought a bottle of fruit flavored Arizona Ice Tea, and it was NOT labeled as diet or "sugar-free", but it contained the sweetener sucralose, aka Splenda.

Splenda is yet another poisonous artificial sugar.

  • Can't you guys please stop the propaganda.

Aspartame is proven safe, not just once...

it is the most tested product in the world.

If you don't like it, dont eat it.

but dont manipulate everyone to think the same as you.

    wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Aspartame

read what aspartame really does when it is ingested into your body.

also, aspartame only has a very low boiling-point.

it doesn't get any more dangorous, it just looses it's sweetness.

  • @D1Rap If all you know is what wikipedia tells you then you are indeed misinformed. I have looked at this thing from as many angles as I can find and THAT is why I did this video. There are many sources of good evidence that you need to take the time to look at before you let a potentially dangerous opinion guide people.

  • @SpiritualTalk I see it as a much more valuable information-site than a subjective video dedicated only to show how bad aspartame is.

Wikipedia is suposed to be objective, and is often edited if some of the information is incorrect/subjective.

but you are right, it can be wrong...

  • @D1Rap you clearly dont know what your talking about

  • @D1Rap its your choice but its freakn bacteria POOP!

  • @69Sirdragon huh?

  • @D1Rap it was more a comment then a reply hit the wrong button :P but that is what aspertane is feces from bacteria chemically engineered there's a new DOC out on the searle group and about all the monkeys that died during those test very disturbing!?!? and all the FDA that went to work for searle after they investigated them , wtf ? right ...

the truth is becoming so loud now on everything !! =)

  • @D1Rap Using Wikipedia as a source is DANGOROUS.

Why must these evolutionary mishaps voice their simple minded drivel? Why don't we live in a world where if you're stupid, you remain silent in shame?

  • @vabyss78 LOL! Man...that was pure irony! Beautiful!

  • @vabyss78 you are ironic right?

  • Hey, what about that other chemical "BHT"? What are the negative health effects of that?

  • Would have been really nice if you could have told us the name of the product in the line ...

  • I just wanted to thank you for this information, I had no idea.

  • They make aspartame from e.coli feces. Glee gum is good and is all natural.

  • So you have not chosen to take aspartame, and you have to ask why they plan to do about this? Dude, not to sound offensive, but you seem to be whining about something you have absolute control over. Read the labels!!! that alllllll you have to do!!! That way you will know what poison you decide to ingest. And why are you, a self professed smoker, complaining about asartame being a health hazzard? You are making no sense...

  • I love it when someone starts off with "not to sound offensive" and then proceeds to do just that. First of all, there is no whining in this video! Second, I am obviously no health nut. I drink, I smoke and I trim the fat off my prime rib so I can eat it first, mmm mmm mmm! Love it! Aspartame is a nasty chemical and far too dangerous to be putting in our food! It is making its way into far too many products and should be banned! What the lable doesn't tell you is what this poison is made of!

  • I know its a poison, as is HFCS. And I dont eat either, simply because I know enough about both to ban them from my home and body. I know I dont eat either because I read every single label. And if there is any doubt in my mind, then I move along. Thats all Im sayin....read the labels and proceed accordingly. Its that simple. And a side note: I know a ton of physicians...and more than half drink aspartame drinks...

  • THANK YOU for this video! I discovered this exact phenomenon in "sugared gums" and was quite displeased! We really need to get the word out to people about this junk... I also found out its in our chewable daily multivitamins. Insanity.

  • Acesulfame potassium (k) is another name. i guess when you mix the chemicals, their effects change. Potassium mixed with water is dangerous. I chew Chiclets, classic and delicious and one Adams/ Cadbury left original. I knew I wasn't the only one who's experienced this problem with Wrigley's. Thanks

  • Thanks for the suggestions. Acesulfame is not the same chemical as Aspartame but is often added to artificially sweetened foods as if Aspartame was not enough. Both Chemicals are potentially poisonous!

  • Wait so your video is on Aspartame yet you smoke.... Aspartame is the LEAST of your worries!

  • Smoking is a big problem, yet I am aware of its harmful affects and have been from the day I decided to take it up. We are being lied to and deceived about the harmful effects of aspartame. It is far from the least of our worries.

  • BHT is in those gums as well that is very unhealthy.

  • You brought up some good points, I am curious what is offered without the aspartame.

  • Aspartame is cheap, effective and heavily marketed by the owner of the patent. It is in almost everything sugar-free. It is 400 times sweeter than sugar and is also added to many products that are not sugar-free or "diet". If you drink "diet" sodas you are out of luck, virtually all of them have it. If you chew gum, look at the labels on kiddie bubble gum products like hubba-bubba. Moderation helps though. One diet soda a day or a couple pieces of gum will take years to accumulate in your body.

  • I appreciate what your doing.

  • Thanks. Too many people will not take this issue seriously.

  • obviously you dont have anything better to do than waste your time creating nonsense, eh?

  • I suppose searching around YouTube for places to leave nasty insults is a better thing to do with my time.

No...I think it is better to try to inform people about potential risks to their health.

  • Honestly couldn't watch anymore than 2 minutes of this because you've been fed false information, Kevin. There have been numerous studies done that have concluded that consuming aspartame is no more dangerous than consuming sugar itself. Do a little bit of searching on google without falling for what look like official sites exclaiming certain evidence that its bad for you.

Essentially its just an old wive's tale...i'll post some links of some things you can read and listen to later...

  • I look forward to your links. But you should know that I have done my research and I have done so with an open mind and open eyes.

It seems that feeding false information to people is all too common in this world especially when it comes to big business and the greed that predomintely effects the decisions of big business. I have found that false information is bought and sold for profit!

I have very likely seen what you plan to send me. I have looked at both sides. Have you done the same?

  • hey kev. not sure how much research u have done, but aspartame has linked to MS in women. apparently, its the diet sodas that women r drinking. my cousin used to consume diet soda on a regular basis. she now has been diagnosed with MS. dis is ridiculous.....

  • I should also add that you said you couldn't watch more than two minutes of my video. That tells me that you are not allowing yourself to even hear opposing viewpoints.

  • Hey Kev :)

i feel exactly like u do...i have unfortunately drunk a hell of a lot of coke in my nearly 30yrs of life, with alot of it being of the diet variety (have now quit anything containing aspartame) so like u i wasn't 2 pleased when i learnt the truth behind aspartame & that it is a excitertoxin that excites your braincells 2 death, causes brain tumas & so forth...i've warned people as much as i can & will probably do a video on it at some stage...

    Great 2 c u put this video out :)

  • Ones strength of conviction, rests within their natural ability to discern their natural*abilities...

  • Hi Bruce! Good to see you. My concern is that someone or something may be trying to keep my strength of conviction from its full potential by chemically reducing my natural abilities.

  • Smoked

Held in the misty cold grip of veiled death, the beauty of her soul struggles with the callous demons of addiction, caught between life and living, nerves growing shorter and shorter as the cravings relentlessly itch and dig their deep hollows through her personal life, controlled by the seductive force of fear, imprisoned by its will, as the dark shadow of slow insidious death, smiles from within the smoke she exhales . . .

  • Bottled

Clasping its coolly deceptive exterior swallowing a soothingly smooth liquid flower drowning shame sinking fears prolonging suffering looking now through dull glassy eyed anger unable 2 fight the terrifying vertical embrace of this hoax hostage 2 a slick hypocritical bite a singular self destructive impostor absent of pride bottled and discarded upon the decaying heap of social misery forever shrouded in a life of poisonous mist between center and balance bound only by threads we weave.
