Im a 55 year old woman....and i was 6 in the time of ruby bridges and i was black. It was a terrible time and it makes me remember the day ruby walked in that school.

It was a warm day and i was just walking to my segregated school and i heard chanting of the white folks. 2,4,6,8 we dont want to intergrate,8,6,4,2 we dont want a chigeroo. Ruby stepped out that car with her mother, and walked in that school,white folks yelling and sceaming at her...i could of did it too, but she was one of a kind

It's funny how white people call us animals and yet here they are spitting and throwing things at a little six year old girl who couldn't even read the signs. I'm black I also have other race in me and I am attending college this upcoming september people thought i wouldn't make it but I proved them wrong cause I'm strong and your friends cousin isn't right; but God has a plan for him, I can't judge others cause it's disgusting to judge but I know one day this world will be back in Gods hands! :)
