Same thing with holidays, idk what or why, but suddenly I didn't care that it was my birthday or Christmas, etc. I pretty much got to the point where every day (whether it's a holiday, my birthday or just a normal day) is the same as any other. IMO - that change many people feel when turning a certain age is just in their mind - I do agree that people change but there is not set age people are "maturing" or anything. Like with most things, it's up to you when you decide to change your life ( or anything in that fashion ).
I turned 25 last year. Funny thing is 21, 22, 23 and 24 were kinda missing. When I turned 20 it kinda remained in my brain, that I'm 20. Until 25, if anyone asked me how old I am, somehow I couldn't telle at once, cause I had to think. Guess after a while it doesn't matter anyway. Your age doesn't say anything, only what you do. If you take responsibilities, you do it because of you, not because of your age. Just ignore it and do what you like.

My 25th was awesome. My parents threw me a surpise party from a differnet province. They convinced my co-worked to give me a party. I had cake and pressents and everything.

I'm currently 27, married, and have kids on the way. I'm your future Jeff. Do not fight it. While getting older does bring more responsibilities, do not fight it. I am the happiest I have ever been right now and it is because I'm living my life and loving the people that mean the most to me. Your age makes no difference. my 20th birthday was friday, and honestly, it was the first time i went holy crap, i am getting older, there has so many things that i have seen myself doing by this point that i havent and that time is getting short before i actually become too old. But i still have (hopefully) a long life ahead of me, as do you. i hope you had a great day.

I noticed myself squinting my eyes because you did so almost the entire video due to the sun >.> lol. Anyway, 16 was still pretty big. Didn't care much about 17.. 18 is of course basically 'mandatory' to be big.. Now I just stopped caring about birthdays, really. I've seen enough of them and don't really feel like celebrating anything big. Though, I don't feel old at all, I guess that'll come around 25-ish for me as well =P.
