Right now I'm being tempted by demons, and I have equipped the armor of God. However, I feel I need to use the sword of the Spirit in combo with prayer and unity among Christians in this for me, so I don't end up screwed by the devil. I have been reading the Bible and Quran...i get an idea of what you believe, but when i read the commentaries on the bible, they give everything a different meaning. Very confusing the translations they give. The Bible doesn't seem to be literal at all. Why is it some Christians say believing in Jesus is enough to be saved then other groups stress to be pure and Holy ? That salvation is a gift yet you say here you have to work ? contradictions..

I am starting to see the Bible in a new light all the time.

So Jesus died for everyone's sins, just means he is the only name which sins may be forgiven. So that excludes the Quran then...So all Christians are saved who just try to do their best, when they mess up (sin) they repent and try to do better next time. So the heart must be one with this spirit of Christ's message to be saved, not because of your works but the Father guiding you to understand his message, leading to a less sinful life?

What about the chosen people ?...do any of us have a say then if we are saved or not ?...it doesn't seem like it, God chose his saved people it seems. No one has a say in who is saved, you either are or your not.

So how can unbelievers be sent to hell then ? God is the one who should be sent to hell for eternity, since he is the one who decides who he saves or sends to hell.

Also wouldn't God be better off letting us see a form of himself and guiding us to do better, instead of it being faith ?

So we can "all" be certain of God's existence and the one true religion, etc...alot less fighting then...He could then overthrow leaders who are murderers, etc...and put them in jail or whatever. And then most of the world you would think would be pretty bloody good knowing there is a God who loves everyone, no indecision then, no frustration. Who actually does things for us and actually exists.
