  • Banjoist Harry Reser's "Clicquot Club Eskimos" appeared on radio during the mid- '20s through the early '30s, sponsored by a popular brand of soft drink (Clicquot Club ginger ale, club soda, et. al.)- hence, the band's name. Because of their popularity, they recorded regularly for Columbia during that period. This rousing yet pleasant side was recorded on October 28, 1926 [featuring a vocal by drummer Tom Stacks], and originally released on {American} Columbia 795-D.
