@armorfid It was only $500. It came complete with a COA, signed by Gerry Anderson. It's an investment as I've already had offers of up to a thousand to sell it. I think I'll hold onto it.
@stepxunit That is exactly right! Looks great on a TV show, but in reality, TB-2 would NEVER get off the ground. The same goes for TB-3 as well. Having three engines, they would have to be perfectly sincronised, otherwise it would out-balance and come crashing down. They look bloody cool though, don't they?!
Hi KBoy You misundersstoud me. I love you for building my favorite space vehicle. I feel young every time I see it., However, I am older than you and I saw it. The colour is way too frog. TV's were not that bright and Thunderbirds were never that green or any other colour.. Thunderbird 4 changed it's middle every episode. It did. I'm just saying.
@gkeillor1 It's cool man. The fact is, that I didn't paint this. This is one of 800 produced worldwide. It's a prop replica of the original TB-2, which means its the exact same dimensions as the real model they used. It even came with a COA signed by Gerry Anderson himself! Pretty cool stuff. Always love meeting another Thunderbirds fan!
I know that the colour is wromg and the seam for the pods should be way more promenant, but FFFFFNNNNN WWow. Well done. Serious, though. you know that this space ship will take on any very large module, like a large transport plane. It will not likely fight and dodge, because it is to big.. I'm old and this is my favorite Thunderbird. It's shape is perfect. It is a SAR not a fighter. This is true. You have painted over the seams, but half the flyer is interchangable, with helpfull stuff.
@iansuncoast I'm glad you like it. There are only 800 Worldwide, and I don't think they are available anymore. Compared to the actual TB2 from the show, the original is a much darker green, but I actually prefer the paintjob on mine. You have good taste my friend!
@rolliemachine Thanks mate! I take that as a compliment! I'm a huge dag! I LOVE the Thunderbirds, Star wars, Star Trek, in fact, the daggier the better!

@stepxunit If that were to happen, there would be no way they could ever make it fly!

@Kaffyboy Are you telling me Brains isn't capable of synchronizing the engines in Thunderbird 3?
CatapultYourMom 2 months ago
@CatapultYourMom That's what I'm saying! Also, It doesn't help much either that Brains is made of wood :-)

@gkeillor1 Yes. The colour of the original TB-2 is a very dark, almost bottle green. I love the lighter green by far myself!
I'm sure glad you like it. The thing is a beast!!
