Spunkalish, Punk didn't fail as a champ, he was over. Joe didn't fail as a champ, TNA fucking blows. Also, the ORIGINAL term for "highspot" meant the emotional high of the match, but in today's jargon, it means a big spot. I agree with you, most indy guys don't know diddly shit about wrestling, they just cram immitated Japanese moves in there. What ROH is doing now is toning down the highspots (which is a GOOD thing) and building up the characters more, which is what people get attached to.

I think all "wrestlers" have to be good workers and the reason ROH works the way it does is because the people who buy the DVD's and go to the shows want to see a heavy emphasis on mat work, but unless you appreciate that, you'll watch WWE which is just fine, it simply caters to a seperate demographic

Why do you think they praise the Dragon Gate 6 mantags and discount the Briscoes no selling a fucking spike? I like the path ROH is on, more emotion and saving big moves for the right time. I'm not hating on you because you seem to get wrestling, I just thought I'd give my thoughts on ROH fans.

High spots aren't actually spots where you jump off the top rope, it's a spot where the level of emotion and fan enthusiasm reaches a new high. It's where you slowly build the match to a higher spot. But most fans and a lot of indy wrestlers think it's just doing big moves, which it somewhat is, but you gotta do them at the right time. When you got 150 pound kids doing flips here and there, you fuck the match up because you aren't building towards anything.

I love that DVD, Colt has a great combo of comedy and wrestling. Okay, well I guess i's just not your cup of tea. I too really loved that Cot Cabana dvd. My personal favorite it the Better Than Our Best DVD, it is really a virtually perfect show and really well-rounded. It features a double main event of Dragon vs. Lance Storm and a Hardcore Chicago Street Fight featuring Cabana and Homicide. As you can see the show was really diverse. My friend hates OH but loves that DVD.

Unfortunately there will be no footage from Caged Collision cause of the ppv deal they have they can't so any footage from it until after it airs other then the ppv hype videos they will do right before the ppv airs.
