  • when the card on top of the deck how do you buckle it heavily dose that mean you put your pinky inside then d the flip PLZ could u help me

  • This cut can be used to produce one, two or four cards without changing

anything. To produce one card make sure the card you want to produce is on

top, alls you have to do is buckle it heavily. When you flip the packet over air will

be trapped between the packet and the card at 180°. The card will stop spinning

but the packet will continue to spin another 180° and the one card will appear

face down in the center as in Figure 9. A similar idea is found in Dan Fleshman’s

  • Hey Jordan , need your help with the molecule.I own the dvds and Nursery Vol. 1 2 and 3. When it says:

  • It is ? i know how to do this when i do swiss made the aces gos on the bottom unless i use to aces

  • Good trick but i got dan and dave buck dvds but this trick uses 2 aces

  • @LLusioNz Thanks a bunch! However this is entirely impromptu.

  • You should make more videos, Jordan. I really enjoy these tricks.

  • amazing tamariz turnover

  • haha amazing

  • like it. shame it doesnt end clean though.

  • Thank you very much, @Buddyvision2010! Though I should point out, it is entirely impromptu and ends as clean as it started.

    Jordan

  • very good :)

  • Hey Jordan,

can you tell me the name of the move when you flip the double over and it is slightly sticking out jogged.

  • Hi @GenocideProductions6 , it's a variation on The Tamariz Turnover, created by Juan Tamariz and published on page 57 of Sonata (1989) and also more recently on page 580 of Card College Volume 3 (1998). The method I do uses a Stuart Gordon turnover as opposed to a traditional book-fashion flip, and closely resembles The Vernon Replacement. Hope this helps! :)

  • your amazing

  • Is that normal rider-back's or some kind of special edition?

  • jesus, u make me want to buy dan and dave dvds, awesome, love the second time machine :O

  • u r rele good dude....have u thought about applying for a partnership?

  • Wow! Kicker finish. Very visual after the sheperd! loved it! thumbs up

  • @FinnIllusionist it was a db spin change not sheperd

  • Hey, nice variation there. Check out my variation of doing it (face up) and tell me what you think :)

  • smoothinator

  • oh shit u got a lot of packs

  • this trick is originally from Roberto Giobbi, not Steve Freeman

  • Hi Ilusiones10,

I think you are mistaken - Roberto Giobbi didn't create "Time Machine", but included it in his compilation on page 588 Card College Volume #3 (1998). The description in his book also says "This excellent trick is the creation of the highly respected Los Angeles card magician, Steve Freeman."

I believe this effect was published first in Volume 45 Number 7 issue of Genii Magazine (July, 1981) under Steve Freeman.

    Hope this helps,

    Jordan

  • @JordanLapping

Baaam in your face Ilusiones 10 XD Jordan your cruel :P

    Little joke.

Simple effect, strong audience reactions. You performed it flawless and sweet as sugar.

    greets

    -Fabian-

  • @JordanLapping How do you remember all of that?

  • Awesome

  • I was discouraged because for two months time. I couldn't get it done. The Lennart Green's Top shot. It's very useful in the trick of Erik Jones Ishkabible sandwich.

  • Loved it awesome! :D

  • lol =)) the ending !!! 5/5

  • hey jordan, you could even get a tivo 2.0 in there, after the first one and before the swiss made. just a thought. i might try it out

  • ave they stopped making jerry's nuggets?

  • Yerh 39 years ago!

  • lol!

  • awsome

  • beautiful top shot and centre double and spin change

  • FLAWLESS

  • hi jordan,

i really like your top shot, looks so good, any tips on it or from where you learned it ?

    thanks!

  • Hi ikzmod,

Thank you for the kind words regarding my Top Shot! I learned it from Volume 1 of Lennart Green's "Greed Magic" series. It was a move that I admittedly struggled with endlessly when I learned it - I found it so hard to accomplish. The "aim" was the hardest thing for me, but consistantly shooting the card was another dilemma.

It takes quite a bit of time, though with practice it becomes almost second nature - I can guarantee that; so stick with it for sure.

    Warmest regards,

    Jordan

  • no you didn't see him do it you know he did it. I didn't see him do it but i still figured it out, because im knowledgeable of magic i know different techniques and the tricks he relates this trick to. I mean I've figured out tricks on websites like Ellusionist just by looking at it. He did do it perfect if you don't notice a lot of people are stumped on this trick. Delete your comment before you ruin this trick for tons of people. look at his performance of transpositions if you want perfect

  • im not saying that he didnt make a good performance, but he chose a bad camera angle, and if someone did have skill in cardistry they would know what he did. i agree with you there....and if you think my comment annoys you on a personal level, I'll remove it.

  • Amazing handling and a great performance. Keep up the good work, even though this video is 2 years old and your clearly are keeping up the good work. Keep it up some more...

  • good job man

  • was that a small flash at 2 mins!!!!!

    OH MY!!

    Lol great trick combo- 5/5

    -Dan

  • actually most people wont notice if its not on vid...

but if its live and with all the guise and misdirection it wont be a prob...

  • I know it was a joke lol. No one cares if it flashes cause its actually a pretty difficult move to get smooth

  • 19 card boxes and 2 rubik's cubes ... nice lol :P and nice trick ^^

  • great job man

  • uuuuuummmm HOW!?!?!?!?!?!

  • A dozen card boxes and two Rubik's cubes in the background.

  • haha

  • omg

  • very nice!

  • WTH that was just amazing man. 5/5

  • Rubik´s Cube^^

  • "How do I go back when there was Jerrys Nuggets" LOL!

  • Jordan, did you do use any duplicates at the part when you did the db spin change? Or is your palm just that good.?

  • nope

  • I know how to do everything right up until after the db spin change. I don't get how you got the ace back on top.

Very cool performance, and a good idea.

  • Great routine. You should try putting hedbergs peak in there as a finally. I think it would work great.

    Best wishes,

    Spuffy

  • wonderful..really..

  • Nicely done...I like it....

  • Can you please post a tutorial? Cuz` i can`t find the DVD. Please.

  • u cant tell that he flashed, do u know who he is? he's Mr. Smoothness

  • heh, "I'll mix things up by putting things in its place" Isnt that an oxymoron? haha, great job man

  • incredible

  • This is such a great performance I am going to learn it. Might take me a year but I will nail it.

  • yeah i agree with you.. there is an incredble handling.. im not gonna boil it.. but if you thik carefully u'll get it

  • i dont understand how u could control the ace of spade to the top of the deck after the trick "swiss made"

    incredible handling though, gj

  • hey my name is disney dj i am borrowing mjcamjca's page i just saw your video for the first time you are freakishly amazing you truly are a magik god

  • That was freaking amazing! I to do illusions and am inspired by your card handing and smooth transactions. Very well done!

  • Nice! Very cleanly done.

  • i love how you do the last trick combo i know how to do it cause i've got that trilogy

  • i should try mixing those 2 together if its ok with you lol

  • what production for the ace of spades called???

  • It's called the topshot by Lennart Green.

  • i didn't those card tricks had names.

  • oops. i meant i didn't know those cards had names.

  • That was brilliant!

  • damn it so nice very smooth

  • Please tell me what the flisk you did at the beginning is called so i can learn it. Great vid!!!

  • That's Lennart Green's "Top Shot" .. You can learn it in "Green Magic"

  • Let's play, WHAT'S IN THE BACKGROUND GAME! lol..

    as always, nice vid mate!

  • That's so well done. Nice and relaxed, the magic just "happens". The way it should be.

  • Very well done i think it is amazing what you can do with a deck of cards... also i was wondering, is there a name for the move when you produced the ace?

  • the production at the beginning is lennart greens top shot

  • It's the Lennart Green top shot.

  • haha love the ending well done

  • lovely, slow smoothe sleight of hand.i think i read somewhere you are only eighteen,i can only imagine you started magic at quite an early age and have been totally dedicated to it.

  • Hi nathanlulu,

Thanks for the kind words mate, I appreciate the comment. I'm 16 and started to gain interest in magic when I was 5 or 6 years old. I started performing 'real' magic with cards around 4 or 5 years ago. It's been an absolute blast; I love every minute of it. I hope there will be many more fun years to come. :)

    Cheers,

    Jordan

  • Jordan

For me you are a kind of inspiration. I am a magician from Brazil and do a little of XCM. But I have a question I think you will undertand. Your variation of Swiss Made to put the card on the top is inspired by a move of Juan Tamariz, isn't it? The TPC. I think you know the move. You are a genious! Thanks for sharing this piece of art with me^^

  • your comb is great but not too practical when having just one deck on you.

  • Hi Pausec,

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the effect. Funnily enough, this does involve just one pack and is entirely impromptu.

    Warm regards,

    Jordan

  • seems imposible because i do own the trilogy and when you do swiss made you are not left clean and so you do need to have some extra card to do it your way

  • Hi Pausec,

You're right; the Trilogy does not explain a method to clean up the change - but this is not what I do. The move at the end is a slight variation on the db Spin Change and is something I came up with independently which allowed the changed card to end on top of the pack. However, I don't claim it as my 'own' move, as it has surely been used before.

It's gratifying to know that you find it "impossible", as it involves no extra cards that shouldn't be there.

    Regards,

    Jordan

  • sorry for waisting your time you are right it doesnt need extra cards but you could use extra cards if you want better angles.

  • holy shit that's a lot of cards you have, is your dad working in the usplayingcards company ?

  • Hi xMrSmarTx,

I wish that were the case, but unfortunately not! I'm just an amateur who enjoys playing with his deck - despite how wrong that sounds. I've been "collecting" and buying cards for about five years now; I find they always come in handy, lol.

    Warm regards,

    Jordan

  • wow great video. I figured out most of the trick except how the time machine jumped on top in the end. Great presentation too!

  • so i know how to do the trick swiss made but im havin g a little trouble doing the change any tips

    p.s great vid 5 stars

  • nicely done man!!!

  • i love how you are perform your handling is so smooth. i think that there are people that are dreaming to have the skills you have

  • Jordan, your presentation is beautiful and well handled. You're probably one of the most skilled card magician out there. 5/5 from me.

  • nice move at the end i diddnt think that was going to happen

  • dude u rock i just subscribed too u

  • Brilliant little move at the end.

    Love it

  • this is probably nothing new... but your handling and patter is superb!!! and i absolutely adore the trick, u r amazing

  • i think dan&dave buck made a revolution in card handling . absolutly wanderful my friend

  • wat webcam do u hav?

  • Hi Sachintendulkar07,

For my YouTube videos, I use the Sony HDR-FX1 camcorder.

    Warm regards,

    Jordan

  • nice. you make verything funny. like the ending. jerrys nugetts lol XD

  • Woah man.. That was pretty smooth. Nice handling!

  • i was unaware that you only needed 17 packs of cards to become a pro. I guess im a super pro then. lol Sorry Jordan, but as long as i keep buying these cards youll never be as good as me!lol

Excelent handling, good timing and smooth patter.

    Take it easy man

  • Jordan has around 450 decks. Super pro.

  • you are amazingly smooth, as a magician myself i can only guess what u did as it was completely clean and smooth, free of suspician. awesome work, never give up magic, you are too good

  • Simply excellent!what can i say?!Absolutely loved it!

  • That was cool... And that top shot was awesome.. where it can learn

  • Very smooth card handling.

I've been back and forth on buying a Dan and Dave video and I see their influence in your handling. Have they helped you become more smooth, in your opinion? Would you recommend their stuff?

  • you can ask that to any1 who have bought anything from D&D and we will all have high recommends for anything from them lol go buy it now

  • that was the best and smoothest swiss made performance ever! im in total awe....5/5!!!!

  • i hate the pinky shot thingy in the beginning so bad!!! the trilogy didnt really explain it well. got any pointers.

  • Hi costeayuyu,

If by "double" you mean a duplicate card, then no -- as this effect is completely impromptu.

    Warm regards,

    Jordan

  • then its very amaizing

  • great video! Nicely done and I love the accent!

  • lol nice with the jerry nugget line. You shouldnt have done it twice but very nice overall.

  • shouldnt have did it twice..... magician never does a trick twice...

  • I completely agree, but I have not in any of my videos. Understandably the routines are very similar in their premise; that was the idea. In their handling and visual appeal, however, they are utterly unalike. :)

    Jordan

  • loved it, just one slight flash I saw on the spin change and thats it. Otherwisw wonderful,

It really makes me want to actually perform this combo.

    Milligan,

    Milligan360 on db2 forums and theory11

  • shall I reply or not? There are 4 replys so I wont. Thank you Jordan for this Demonstration

    I personally like it

  • hey you made this exactly on my birthday july 29... whatta cawinky dink

  • nice very smooth but do you use duplicates?

and could that last time travle be used as a colur change? thanks and thats a lot of decks

  • Hi 1994elres,

The routine is practically 100% impromptu, with the exception of controling the Ace of Spades prior to the effect. Apart from that, there is no setup whatsoever.

I hope this helped in any way. :)

    Regards,

    Jordan

  • Gosh you have lot's of decks and rubic cubes :)

  • that top shot was amazing

  • omg.... i just don't understand the last move....where the f does the ace.....damn.... great job jordan!

  • For us mere mortals, I found that using Paul Harris' Instant Replay can be a much easier alternative to Mr. Green's Top Shot.

    And Jordan... I love you.

    (like a brother of course)

  • That is quite the collection of cards u have there off to the right. =D

  • Could you do a video of deja vu? I'd like to see your handling of it

  • Since "everyone" is typing up their favorite part of this video I wil too.

    00:00-02:28

  • Very nice!!

  • waaiita minute,,,,,

thats cool, betsya cant do it again loljk

  • you......are.....beast.....

  • 0:51 was insane lmfao

  • Wow, look at all the card decks on your desk!

  • lol i think i knew what was going on until the ace of spade ended up coming back on top at the end. i was like "..........all right... how did that happen?"

  • 0:51! Whoa!

  • OMG that WAS the SHIIIIIT!! 0:51

  • :51 was pretty sweeet

  • wooooooooooo look on the right side of him, loadsa pack of cards.

  • lol

  • Hey Jordan, is the 2nd phase found on the video trilogy or is it only in print?

  • Can you tell me the technique of how you made the ace jump from the deck to your hand? I would truly like to do that before some card games... Or is that a classified magician as secret as well?

    Great card trick all around.

  • It's so secret it's called the Top Shot. Oops
