Hi @GenocideProductions6 , it's a variation on The Tamariz Turnover, created by Juan Tamariz and published on page 57 of Sonata (1989) and also more recently on page 580 of Card College Volume 3 (1998). The method I do uses a Stuart Gordon turnover as opposed to a traditional book-fashion flip, and closely resembles The Vernon Replacement. Hope this helps! :)
I notice when you do a DL, after you turn it back over, the card is left out-jogged on the deck. Which I think is a great persuader to the spectator that the magician is only turned over one card. If you don't get it pause the video at 1:10, and you'll see what I mean. What is that subtlety called? Please reply.

I think you are mistaken - Roberto Giobbi didn't create "Time Machine", but included it in his compilation on page 588 Card College Volume #3 (1998). The description in his book also says "This excellent trick is the creation of the highly respected Los Angeles card magician, Steve Freeman."
I believe this effect was published first in Volume 45 Number 7 issue of Genii Magazine (July, 1981) under Steve Freeman.
I was discouraged because for two months time. I couldn't get it done. The Lennart Green's Top shot. It's very useful in the trick of Erik Jones Ishkabible sandwich.
Thank you for the kind words regarding my Top Shot! I learned it from Volume 1 of Lennart Green's "Greed Magic" series. It was a move that I admittedly struggled with endlessly when I learned it - I found it so hard to accomplish. The "aim" was the hardest thing for me, but consistantly shooting the card was another dilemma.
It takes quite a bit of time, though with practice it becomes almost second nature - I can guarantee that; so stick with it for sure.
no you didn't see him do it you know he did it. I didn't see him do it but i still figured it out, because im knowledgeable of magic i know different techniques and the tricks he relates this trick to. im not saying that he didnt make a good performance, but he chose a bad camera angle, and if someone did have skill in cardistry they would know what he did. i agree with you there....and if you think my comment annoys you on a personal level, I'll remove it.
Amazing handling and a great performance. Keep up the good work, even though this video is 2 years old and your clearly are keeping up the good work. Keep it up some more...
Very well done i think it is amazing what you can do with a deck of cards... also i was wondering, is there a name for the move when you produced the ace?
lovely, slow smoothe sleight of hand.i think i read somewhere you are only eighteen,i can only imagine you started magic at quite an early age and have been totally dedicated to it.
Thanks for the kind words mate, I appreciate the comment. I'm 16 and started to gain interest in magic when I was 5 or 6 years old. I started performing 'real' magic with cards around 4 or 5 years ago. It's been an absolute blast; I love every minute of it. I hope there will be many more fun years to come. :)
For me you are a kind of inspiration. I am a magician from Brazil and do a little of XCM. But I have a question I think you will undertand. Your variation of Swiss Made to put the card on the top is inspired by a move of Juan Tamariz, isn't it? The TPC. I think you know the move. You are a genious! Thanks for sharing this piece of art with me^^
seems imposible because i do own the trilogy and when you do swiss made you are not left clean and so you do need to have some extra card to do it your way
You're right; the Trilogy does not explain a method to clean up the change - but this is not what I do. The move at the end is a slight variation on the db Spin Change and is something I came up with independently which allowed the changed card to end on top of the pack. However, I don't claim it as my 'own' move, as it has surely been used before.
It's gratifying to know that you find it "impossible", as it involves no extra cards that shouldn't be there.
I wish that were the case, but unfortunately not! I'm just an amateur who enjoys playing with his deck - despite how wrong that sounds. I've been "collecting" and buying cards for about five years now; I find they always come in handy, lol.
i was unaware that you only needed 17 packs of cards to become a pro. I guess im a super pro then. lol Sorry Jordan, but as long as i keep buying these cards youll never be as good as me!lol
you are amazingly smooth, as a magician myself i can only guess what u did as it was completely clean and smooth, free of suspician. awesome work, never give up magic, you are too good
I've been back and forth on buying a Dan and Dave video and I see their influence in your handling. Have they helped you become more smooth, in your opinion? Would you recommend their stuff?
I completely agree, but I have not in any of my videos. Understandably the routines are very similar in their premise; that was the idea. In their handling and visual appeal, however, they are utterly unalike. :)
The routine is practically 100% impromptu, with the exception of controling the Ace of Spades prior to the effect. Apart from that, there is no setup whatsoever.
lol i think i knew what was going on until the ace of spade ended up coming back on top at the end. i was like "..........all right... how did that happen?"
Can you tell me the technique of how you made the ace jump from the deck to your hand? I would truly like to do that before some card games... Or is that a classified magician as secret as well?
when the card on top of the deck how do you buckle it heavily dose that mean you put your pinky inside then d the flip PLZ could u help me
LLusioNz 2 months ago
This cut can be used to produce one, two or four cards without changing
anything. To produce one card make sure the card you want to produce is on
top, alls you have to do is buckle it heavily. When you flip the packet over air will
be trapped between the packet and the card at 180°. The card will stop spinning
but the packet will continue to spin another 180° and the one card will appear
face down in the center as in Figure 9. A similar idea is found in Dan Fleshman’s

Can you tell me the technique of how you made the ace jump from the deck to your hand? I would truly like to do that before some card games... Or is that a classified magician as secret as well?
Great card trick all around.
