  • For its time this game was great. I thought it was better than the arcade version since it included buildings rather than the classic arcade triangle mountains.

  • Awesome game. My friends and I loved this version. To get the gameplay and feel so similar to the arcade version on a console of such basic spec, was an amazing feat. The game is great, albeit MUCH easier than the arcade one!

  • This is the first time I've seen the 2600 version

  • damn, you must be a 90's baby, lol

  • Nope Im not. I just never spent much time around the 2600. I had a Intellivision back in 1981.

  • oh ok, well i never seen an intellivion before, i had my first 2600 in like 1980 myself, lol. & intellivision fell off faster than atari did, intellivision has a terrible history, lol lol

  • Yep it did. I only had a few games like Donkey Kong, Venture, Mouse Trap, Zaxxon and the game that came with the system called Poker & Blackjack.

To this day, I still have the system, but not sure if it still works. Well back in 81 I didnt play it much anyway. I was playing games in the arcade. But it was nice to have something at home you didnt have to put quarters into. LOL

  • great game
