  • And you're a fat guy obsessed with cars. This guy's an experienced professional instructor. This is a very old video and just because he's small himself doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about. A lot of fitness instructors in commercial gyms are unfit but that just means they don't follow they're own advise, they still have qualifications in sport and fitness as well as nutrition. His goals at the time may not have been to get bigger, maybe just increase his overall fitness level.

    Allot of people that are really skinny, people with a fast metabolism. it's actually really fucking hard to gain weight if you got a really fast metabolism because you gotta eat so much more food than you are used to.

  • I am a MMA fighter, and have been trying to gain weight for the last to years. I am 20 yrs old and have gained 3 pounds of muscle in those 2 years. im 5'6 130. At a young age it is really hard to gain but. I am sure there are alot of factors. you might not be lifting with enough intensity, not eating enough, your metabolism is at it's highest, your genetics. you have to be dedicated and work HARD on it for YEARS. if you want to see real results naturally. that is the only way.

  • diet, proper training, and sleep are factors you need to look at.

  • if you weight 120lb than its going to take a lot longer than 3 months to gain weight and muscle, know one knows what you are doing so know one knows what your doing wrong

  • 5'11 120lbs sounds very slim. You've got some work to do bro. I'm 6'0 140lbs and I'm still under weight but it's all muscle. It's hard to put on weight with a fast metabolism but it can be done. You basically just have to eat the right foods and hit the gym at least 4 to 5 days a week. Eat 1 hour before going to the gym. Hit the bench press at least twice a week and hit the machine weights during on other days. Always mix Calisthenics into your workout. That's the purest and most natural workout

  • u need to get protien before and after training.

    wen on machines or free wieghts or wateva u use doesnt realy matter i like to do low reps more wieght for exsample i could do lets say 50kg on the fly chest and do about 15 reps but in stead i do reps of six on about 75 kg so my muslce bulks rite up do 4 sets of six on wateva ur trying to build and ur start to notice in about a month. ive not been to the gym that long only 8 weeks but this is how ive put on wieght and muscle.

  • forgot to mention i take creatine tablets and they make me work out longer my workout week is like this:

    .tueday.2hr

    wednesday. rest

    thur.2hr

    fri.2hr and then sat i will do a light workout for about an hour.

  • More so than the protein you gotta get your carbs like sweet potatoes or brown rice. Hell in rare cases I'll eat a chicken breast and have a nice size peice of yellow cake as the desert and wash it down with a bottle of water. Oatmeal or grits are also great. Dead lifts is a great excercise along with sqats if you wanna get thick.

    second morning times eggs milk whole grain toast 2-4 eggs milk

    before recess at school have snacks almonds are good nuts, then recess tuna in tin maybe 2 tins, lunch chicken sandwhiche or some sort of beef for that testosterone ok a snack b4 dinner fruits vegetables but with fruits and veggies you need water and for dinner dont annoy your mum eat your dinner big plate work out half an hour later then big glass of water with protein shake DONE!

  • im 15 5 foot 4 and weigh 98 pounds im always the smallest kid in all my classes i can bench 95 squat 105 and curl 60 and it seems like ive been working out forever, i started taking muscle milk for about a month and it seemed like it did nothing but make me lose my six pack, my dad is 5 foot 5 and mom is 5 foot 4 my eighteen year old sister is smaller than me we are all africans and im starting to lose hope......... somebody help me!

  • only thing i can sa to that is with the eggs try to go for egg whites. I usually go 2 full eggs and two without the yolk to keep down on the cholesterol

  • theres no way youll get bigger if your doin loads of cardio

    you have to make a decision, give it up or stay the same size

  • Sorry. We ectomorph can do everything Vince tells us to do and stil lbe skinny. We can't huild muscle that nature did not give us. You can lean out and maximize what you have, but forget about ever looking like Mr. Olympia.

  • For all the people asking if they are skinny... your BMI should be between 19 to 24 in my book. that's normal. uner 19 is a bit skinny. im just 18 BMI, and i need to raise that to 22.5 for my chosen profession. given my height (183cm) i need to gain 15Kg (i weight 60kg.

    DO NOT gain weight for physical attraction purposes, instead do it for health resons. im doing this because my career choice (RAAF pilot officer) requires a good BMI.

    so just bear that in mind ;)

  • Im 5'4" 130 lbs 6% body fat but im a mesomorph body type and am gaining muscle quickly. Sounds like you might be an ectomorph, look it up and you will be able to determin. Then take the proper aproach to your goals.
