lettuce only pretty much has water in it and thats it. i dont feed them lettuce. and VERY very rarely tomatoes, because of the acid in them. so yea, they are being taken care of dont worry

hey mate, i always get people telling me what to do and what not to do with my beardie. but here's just a bit of advice that you can take or discard.

lettuce is fine for beardies in small amounts, but because it has alot of water in it i suggest that you dont give yours too much. some times it is hard to find all of the veggies that they are 'supposed' to have, but you can get water cress (which they love) and rocket leaves, from any super market. it comes in a bag :)

as much space as you can let them have. when she was about a foot long, i put her in a huge cage, and trained her to go in a bowl. after she was completely potty trained, i let her free roam.

the iguana is female, the dragon is male. they dont ever stay together, this was really just a one time thing, so you dont have to worry :P

That is really sweet, but I have to warn you even though he ( your iggy ) is playing nice now he may not continue in the future. Iggys can get aggressive at any time later in life. Sometimes it's just tha"time of year" for them especially if it is a male. If that happens your beardie won't stand a chance sadly. You won't even be able to stop it in time. Please don't risk it.

Beautiful lizards! I had a beardie once! I named him Ebyss...died last december after having him for 3 or 4 years... He was the sweetest little thing..Just wish I were able to convince my parents into getting him a bigger tank :( You're taking incredible care of them! Kudos! mine was only caged the first two years of her life. now, (she is so spoiled) she has her own room

i dont really let her out though because she is curious . gotta make sure you have a heat source (she's about 4 feet so i just use a heating pad) and take her out in the sun on sunny days

i keep the heating pad set on a temp of 3 out of 5...i'm not really sure exactly warm it is but its enough to get her warm but not enough to burn her.

i keep a big water dish in her room that is actually a storage bin thing, and she bathes herself. its good for them becuase when they shed, it will come off easier. and yes, she was about 6 inches when i first got her 5 years ago :)

Aah okay. Funny it looks like lettuce in the video. I didn't even know that bearded dragons ate greens and vegetables... I thought they were carnivorous. That's what people seem to think, even people who keep iguanas, and feed them right. What other things do you feed your beardie? Does he eat any crickets or other meat items? Or are beardies best stuited to the same diet iguanas eat?

Iguanas need more than lettuce for greens. Bearded dragons probably do too. Please look up some dietary information, it's not very hard to find the right information with Google.

no neither one of them are aggressive, but every lizard is different. when iggy was little i used to put her on my lap and watch tv with her. the dragon is a little over 2 i think
