It's always been hard for me to say what I feel or to just say no to somebody. Lately, I've been realizing that everything that I anticipate isn't really anything to worry about. And that it IS okay to express your mind and, like you said, at least you can say that you told the truth. I feel like after you do that, the weight of the world gets lifted from your shoulders and you can just move on. It's better than worrying for days, weeks, or even months about something that doesn't even matter.

I enjoyed this! But, I do think picking ones battles has helped me, at work especially, because I tend to try to fix all challenges, when some are another person's job responsibility. If I take on the other's mistakes (unless the building were on fire, which it isn't), then I eventually get overwhelmed. If the other person isn't doing their job, then THEIR boss can deal with it. This helps since I tend to over stress anyway!
