  • im fascinated to no end by this partition theory stuff, sit down and play with it and see how nutty it is. you would think it would be so simple to get a simple combinatorial expression for p(n).. this is even more fascinating than the prime numbers to me.

  • Beautiful theorem and lecture *_*

  • Wowww.. Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!

  • I do not know why there is a dislike

  • I'm fairly sure that this mathematical discovery is on par with the greatest ever. These equations will affect history from now on in ways which most people cannot even begin to grasp yet.

  • Watching him talk made me thirsty

  • Awesome finding and very entertaining lecture. We're going to have to figure out how to make better super computers to keep these guys interested, we just can't keep up!

  • It's actually funny that he misses "one" in "four equals one plus one plus one plus one" around 4:42 and says "nobody is going to dispute that". :)

  • Ramanujan would be so happy!

  • <3 LaTeX presentations =)

he is really good at making this things easy to understand, but at the same time making you realize how difficult this theory is

  • I am shocked...

Amazingly, not only is the guy good at math, but much more importantly he can TEACH.

So we actually have a teacher who can teach

Which to me is more amazing than the theory.

  • @chopinbrain Is it that rare for the USA to have good teachers ? Boy, I must be very lucky then !

  • Fatnatsic! TY very much!
