I'm pretty sure this is the storyline: Chanell takes those pills at the beginning and dozes off. Then she gets transported to this random place and sees a guy reading news paper with an article of her dozing at the wheel. Then he disappears, going back to the real world, and Chanell gets a flashback of her death. I don't know if it's right or not :P

my friend made a game called vivid. the storyline goes:

a man is losing his sight and has ran out of options, until his doctor recommends a pill in development still. when he takes this pill he loses his grip on reality and must go through his mind to regain reality. at one point he finds this reality but by then he has overdosed and dies. strangely the game is awesome and this kind of reminded me of it
