Recordings of Rory dont do him justice. I was privledged to see him Nov 75' in a small house of about 150 seats. Played for three hours. Played his guts out. I missed a new artist coming through LA by the name of Springsteen to see Rory. Never regretted not driving up to LA.

Yes this is amazing. I remember watching it at the time... I RAN to get my taperecorder and placed it next to the TV-speakers. I still have the tape today. Here on Youtube I finally get to see this show again after 30 years. Strange really. It is so damned good. Are you sure it is 1977? I guessed it was 1976. I must get my hands on that DVD set you are talking about "SlumminAngel".

It may have been 76, but either way it was over 30 years ago and I remember little. Must have been there then :) I think it said 77 on the Old grey Whistle Test DVD
