Wow guys. Your taking this to seriously. If you've seen his "Ocarina hero on..." videos you would see he does this to give people something to laugh about. If you guys seriously think hes bashing on this game then you don't know Ocarinahero at all.

There is one thing that bothers me about the timeline and ST. At the beginning, Zelda says "Link, you were once the greatest swordsmen ever, but that was long ago." So, that says that this is the same Link as Wind Waker. But when you get the best shield, the description is "Niko received this shield from an old friend of his!" The shield resembles the one from Wind Waker. But this Link IS the old friend. So, I'm kind of confused.

The train is a new, interesting way to go from place to place. The only problem I had with this game is that it was way too easy.

It's a fantastic entry into the series, and does a great job at capturing the spirit of Zelda games at large.
I'm sorry that Nintendo doesn't keep releasing Ocarina of Time more often because you obviously don't want to play a game that tries something new. The game has actually already been released four times; I'm sure you have each one.
I want to add this about trains. As you may know, this game's made by mostly japanese people. Many japanese games contain alot of japanese cultural elements. If you don't know them, I understand that it doesn't make any sense. Anyways, trains are huge in japan (its the most used transport system). Also, there has been a time that all boys wanted to be a train driver. It's like, trains in japan are like hot dogs in america and pizza in italy iykwim. Hope that it clearify trains in this game :)

Holy crap, your reaction was like exactly the same as mine. It was like I was hearing my thoughts from about seven months ago come back again... weird. Then I played the game and I am still completely in shock that it turned out to be good. It is the game Phantom Hourglass SHOULD have been. The game was useless. It did nothing to progress the series (the touch screen controls don't count), there were no new items, and only 7 items at that, the music was absolutely atrocious, the story was uninspiring, and yes, the temple of the ocean king was absolutely terrible. In short, the game lacked heart, for lack of a better term, that made the entire rest of the series great.
You really disliked this trailer..Sheesh, it's a trailer plus it didn't look all that bad. The only thing that confused me was the conductor part. Link as a conductor? He's a free range Hero of -----.
this game was good. forget the train. its not even an important aspect. the main goal of the game is to defeat the guy who killed zeld - oh... i mean... its fun. =D and it doesnt take place before wind waker, because its got one of tetras crew mates in it, only hes... ancient. also, in EBHughsThe1st's defense, you should have played the game before you made assumptions. i think it was great, and im a long time zelda veteran.
I actually tried this game thinking it's probably not as bad as it looks, but it was the worst Zelda game I've ever played ( aside from CDi). Needless to say I returned it within the same week. I mean come on Nintendo, chu chu trains in Zelda? Plus the main bad guy is a little leprechaun with horns, Zelda gets murdered within the first ten minutes of gameplay, and the weapons were not original at all!?! What a disappointment :(
@Chyde109 Let's see u have bombs/arrows/boomerang, all over-used. Than u have the Whip=Grappling Hook from the WW, & the Whirlwind=Deku Leaf from the WW, Shield of Antiquity is also seen in WW & PH, Bow of light=Light Arrows from OoT. The only weapon that is some-what different would be the Sand Wand(still looks like Dominion Rod from TP)-& it's extremely lame anyways. However I do agree that PH had no new weapons, which is another reason why I didn't care for either one of these Zelda games.
I never said ST's item selection was perfect, cuz it's not, I was just comparing it to PH which had NO new items. And the Sand Wand can't be compared to the Dominion Rod because the Dominion Rod was absolute fail. But I agree with you for the most part, both games leave much to be desired, but compared to PH, ST might as well be OoT.
i can't wait to see his reaction to Skyward Sword based on this!!! You can see the individual polygons in Link's hair!!! And it will be another good Toon Link game!!!
just to let ya know your theory makes no sense. it states in the game that this game takes place 100 years AFTER phantom hourglass. so if phantom hourglass is a sequal to wind waker and this is a preqel to phantom hourglass but it was befor wind waker wouldnt that cause a time paradox? thanks alot basterd you doomed us all.
@metakirby1065 a prequel is something that came before something else. like ocarina of time is the prequel to majoras mask, and majoras mask is the sequel to ocarina of time. pre means before. also, post means after (unrelated)
I believe this game goes between PH and LA. My belief is shortly after PH ended, Link and Tetra discover a new Hyrule and Tetra's granddaugther is the Princess Zelda in ST. This would explain an old Niko being introduced in the beginning of the game. And about maybe 100 years or so after ST, the events of LA happened which would explain why the Link in this time era asked for Zelda (Link and Zelda were probably childhood friends during LA).

This easily fits 100 years after PH because the Linebeck in ST was the grandson of The PH Linbeck. Plus, Zelda even says HER grandma was Tetra.

Oh no, Zelda is RUINED FOREVER. Seriously, everyone complains every time the 1st pictures or trailers are shown on a new zelda game. In the end, they turn out to be good. Look at SS, people complain about the game being cel-shaded but I have faith the game be good.
I can tell you made this video as soon this trailer was made because ST being a sequel to TP is announced months before the game released.

Neeko from windwaker is an old man in spirit tracks, right? So that would put it between phantom hourglass and a link to the past (or so it seems to me). ps i happen to like driving the train!!!

Fantastic how much of a horrible douchebag some people can be. I love how you decided that you would not even try this game from the very first trailer.
It's a fantastic entry into the series, and does a great job at capturing the spirit of Zelda games at large.
I'm sorry that Nintendo doesn't keep releasing Ocarina of Time more often because you obviously don't want to play a game that tries something new. The game has actually already been released four times; I'm sure you have each one.

I want to add this about trains. As you may know, this game's made by mostly japanese people. Many japanese games contain alot of japanese cultural elements. If you don't know them, I understand that it doesn't make any sense. Anyways, trains are huge in japan (its the most used transport system). Also, there has been a time that all boys wanted to be a train driver. It's like, trains in japan are like hot dogs in america and pizza in italy iykwim. Hope that it clearify trains in this game :)

Holy crap, your reaction was like exactly the same as mine. It was like I was hearing my thoughts from about seven months ago come back again... weird. Then I played the game and I am still completely in shock that it turned out to be good. It is the game Phantom Hourglass SHOULD have been. Sigh, if only PH was never made... there wouldn't be a single bad game in the whole series.

The game was useless. It did nothing to progress the series (the touch screen controls don't count), there were no new items, and only 7 items at that, the music was absolutely atrocious, the story was uninspiring, and yes, the temple of the ocean king was absolutely terrible. In short, the game lacked heart, for lack of a better term, that made the entire rest of the series great.

You really disliked this trailer..Sheesh, it's a trailer plus it didn't look all that bad. The only thing that confused me was the conductor part. Link as a conductor? He's a free range Hero of -----.

this game was good. forget the train. its not even an important aspect. the main goal of the game is to defeat the guy who killed zeld - oh... i mean... its fun. =D and it doesnt take place before wind waker, because its got one of tetras crew mates in it, only hes... ancient. also, in EBHughsThe1st's defense, you should have played the game before you made assumptions. i think it was great, and im a long time zelda veteran.

I actually tried this game thinking it's probably not as bad as it looks, but it was the worst Zelda game I've ever played ( aside from CDi). Needless to say I returned it within the same week. I mean come on Nintendo, chu chu trains in Zelda? Plus the main bad guy is a little leprechaun with horns, Zelda gets murdered within the first ten minutes of gameplay, and the weapons were not original at all!?! What a disappointment :(

@Chyde109 Let's see u have bombs/arrows/boomerang, all over-used. Than u have the Whip=Grappling Hook from the WW, & the Whirlwind=Deku Leaf from the WW, Shield of Antiquity is also seen in WW & PH, Bow of light=Light Arrows from OoT. The only weapon that is some-what different would be the Sand Wand(still looks like Dominion Rod from TP)-& it's extremely lame anyways. However I do agree that PH had no new weapons, which is another reason why I didn't care for either one of these Zelda games.

I never said ST's item selection was perfect, cuz it's not, I was just comparing it to PH which had NO new items. And the Sand Wand can't be compared to the Dominion Rod because the Dominion Rod was absolute fail. But I agree with you for the most part, both games leave much to be desired, but compared to PH, ST might as well be OoT.

just to let ya know your theory makes no sense. it states in the game that this game takes place 100 years AFTER phantom hourglass. so if phantom hourglass is a sequal to wind waker and this is a preqel to phantom hourglass but it was befor wind waker wouldnt that cause a time paradox? thanks alot basterd you doomed us all.

@metakirby1065 a prequel is something that came before something else. like ocarina of time is the prequel to majoras mask, and majoras mask is the sequel to ocarina of time. pre means before. also, post means after (unrelated)

I believe this game goes between PH and LA. My belief is shortly after PH ended, Link and Tetra discover a new Hyrule and Tetra's granddaugther is the Princess Zelda in ST. This would explain an old Niko being introduced in the beginning of the game. And about maybe 100 years or so after ST, the events of LA happened which would explain why the Link in this time era asked for Zelda (Link and Zelda were probably childhood friends during LA).
