Josh Brolin is being considered as playing Snake in the new movie. He looks the part that's for sure, lets see if he can reach the levels of badassry that Kurt Russell did. He has some huge huge shoes to fill. Even if Brolin does really well...Kurt Russell will always truly be the legendary Snake Plissken.
I love this movie but think that the storyline could have been more original. They copied 80% from original Escape From New York. For example Snake is given a mission in LA which has been turned into a prison just like in the original, he`s injected with something that will kill him if he tries to abscond just like in the original, he faces conflict in an arena just like...
Anyway Kurt Russel looked awesome. Valeria Golino's character deserved much more screen time. Her Taslima was interesting
@EmperorofTerra yea but some movies like this only one man can do it, you know the one, sides been sorta getting tired of hollywood ruining all my past favorite movies with bad remakes/reboots, though personally a prequel or squeal would be nice to see!
