My entry inc.aerial silks-that's Cirque du Soleil to the layperson such as yourself...u may want to watch the video before you run your mouth. As an international performer & competitor-i don't need a lift from a small town talent gig to meet any accomplishment quota I've already surpassed....the point is justice, equality & support of all arts. You'll learn all about 'silks' at the Cirque Show in Nov. Watch closely. That's what I do. And no, I don't need a local competition to prove anything-it's not about that. If you were the one on the other side, you'd do exactly what I am doing and try to educate others. That's all it is. Without all the facts of the situation, I know it's hard for you to understand everything behind the comments...Trust me, it's not about nothing. Try to keep an open mind & learn something new through all this.
@spokanepoledance Your right I don't know exactly what the whole delio is. But filing a lawsuit with the ACLU is not cool. If they have wronged you or your talent sorry. But I love this competition they were all very open with us, so I have to take their side. Good luck with your case but I will back this up with all of my heart.

@4WAYS2FALL We thought your performance as a band was awesome! Very unique compared to the rest of the acts and you were in the last 10 that were to be selected for the show. Your clip was intended to showcase your band and the variety of styles that were at auditions: from opera to metal. We really hope you are able to make it to auditions next year and will talk with you at the show!

This contest is unfair to those who really portray true visual arts. They will never have a chance to be seen, because the competition is biased, and infringes on basic rights of freedom of expression. The ACLU agrees. For more info on this please feel free to contact me!
In the meantime-check out some REAL ART! Support the arts! In every form-not just the 'socially acceptable, conservative' kind that fit the script!
