I looked up what kind of song was at number one in the music charts, it was Doris Day with Secret love. Now i understand why i still am touched by her wonderfull voice , it brings me back to my younger days, fills me up with faith and memory. Thank you Doris , for making the world more beautifull..

What a voice!She sounds like butter tastes and velvet feels.Very,very few singers have managed to get this sound.Carol Carpenter springs to mind,but can you imagine anyone on X Factor coming even close,and not winning by a landslide?And this is from someone who likes heavy metal!I can't remember a time when I didn't love Doris's voice.

I love Doris Day, her music, her movies and her personality. I recently attended a show here in Australia by a country singer Melinda Schnieder, (she was not trying to impersonate Doris) but told her life story and sang her songs. Melinda is a big fan of Doris and a wonderful singer in her own right and she did a fantastic show. If you type in Melinda Schnieder does Doris Day I'm sure you'll enjoy her interview.
