The method I use:

Left index finger is on green

Left middle finger and right index to tap...

Alternate between fingers after1 tap completed...

First note hit with my left hand middle finger then the next is hit with my right index

you need to do it on a slower speed in practice. and do it for a LONG time until you're really comfortable with the pattern and everything, even if you're getting 100% every time. i even started on Slowest just to make sure i really got the pattern

ya the intro is all hammer-ons so you only have to strum the first note unless you mess up then you have to strum again to get it going

you should try it with left index on green, left middle finger on red, then right index, middle, and ring finger on the remaining 3. It's much easier.

i dont think any 1 can do it perfectly so turn the calibrations up so you dont have to hit it perfect on full speed i set mine to 105-110 on video

next slow is around 75 and so on down

now start of on slowest and do the tap

till it is almost perfect

easier way to do it for beginners is to rubberband down the green button and use your 2 index and middle fingers and work from there.

took me about 4 hours to get to full speed

it's all hammer-on's and pull-off's. 1 strum is needed for the first note, then the next few times you strum is at the very end where it goes up and down the scale really fast.

Yes you can. The string will continue to vibrate once picked and changing frets will still change the pitch that the guitar emits. In actuality you might actually have to strum 2-5 times to get the string to continuously vibrate, but this is a game, get over it.

I'm very frustrated with this. I don't do it the exact way you do... in fact I do the fingering much differently, but in practice mode, on the Slow setting, so the one thats closest to normal speed, I get a perfect every time, but when I do normal speed, I can't really hit any of them. The timing seems waaay off or something. Any ideas?

i think the majority of the challenge of this comes from making the jump from Slow to full speed, and it can for sure be frustrating. spend some solid time (if you haven't already) on Slow even after you can 100% it fairly easily for one thing. and then don't expect that Full Speed should be a cakewalk. eventually it should click and come together.

one thing to make sure once you do full speed is that you're REALLY just tapping the buttons. on slow you can get away with lingering for a while, but on full speed just hit and pop off the button right away. also keep a careful eye on the non-green buttons as they hit the line and make sure you're tapping is evenly paced. if you have to, think of the melody in your head as just those non-green notes since they're all you have to worry about. makes things a bit less complicated
