I've used your visuals with my elementary music classes! They were spellbound! It's not often you can get Kindergarten children to actively listen for any length of time but this does the trick! Is there any way to see the entire piece at once so we can talk about form?
I was talking about how easy it is to see visually how counterpoint was done, especially for late baroque period composers like Bach. I was not talking about the color, nor slopes, nor trends.
@Phyle9 Actually, it's far from perfect. Look closely at the ornaments --- you'll see that they're all different. And in some scale passages (e.g. at 1:38), the flute player misses a note or two. And the notes are of lots of different lengths; in the score, the only rests are when people aren't playing for a long time, but here, most of the notes slower than a sixteenth note are shorter than notated in the score.
@smalin damn technology, you can't even make a little mistake anymore :))) anyway, the overall impression this performance gives me is quite satisfying. They play with heart. thanx 4 the upload btw!

I'm 15, yet I believe this is beautiful. Today's pop doesn't even come anywhere close to this.

Telemann should have invented the sewing machine.

What is the blue instrument? And how do they make it sound like a bird? It's amazing.

I can't get over the way the flutist and violinist feed into each other. It may be the best lead work I've ever heard, ever.

This looks great! I'm not afraid to Telemann when he does a good job :)

I do prefer this version, especially when the circles are not moving.
It's much easier for me to read how the music goes, this would help greatly in reading Bach's music

I like this piece a lot. The violin and the flute remind me of two children running around, and the cello is like their parent trying to keep up.
The harpsichord reminds of...a harpsichord =P

Very nice Baroque ornaments!!
Good job!
Maybe everything seems a little too quantized, but still feels very natrual and not too computerish!
Very nice! thx
Phyle9 1 year ago
@Phyle9 A little too quantized? It's a live performance, not computer-generated.

@smalin
i dunno... Maybe it's just the midi instruments sound, or you edited a bit too many 'mistakes' ,-) hehe
it's still great tho!!
feels a bit like a metronome. It's almost too perfect! :)

@Phyle9 hey this guy smalin is just addict to fitting midi graphics to wave audio. he likes it too much

@smalin I think that Phyle must be retarded. Or perhaps he has simply never heard anyone Baroque music on the highest echelon.
