I never actually THOUGHT about the starts consciously but something in my visual/cognitive connection told me the video was "not right" somehow. The absence of the stars is perhaps what bothered me at the time. I was a kid, but we were all star buffs in the family. How many pictures of rocks, footprints, flags, LEM props, etc. is it necessary to take before the word redundit comes to mind! LOL! And have you ever looked at A11, A12, and A14 photos closely. The moon seems to only be around two to three hundred feet in any direction. Anyone who lives in the desert can tell you, that you should be able to see for miles and miles and miles during daylight hours. Of course if you are only on a moonset, that kind of distance cannot be faked! I laugh at you NASA!
