i love how she imitated the music video respectfully!! i love her she is so amazing and a strong women who does not follow the path of the female stereotype in society <3
Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman belong to a cult that opposes free speech and free movement. Scientology runs prison camps for its members, litigates enemies into silence and is responsible for suicides and suspicious deaths worldwide. Gaiman grew up being audited and intimidated himself and is used to lying. He may not even realize he’s a hypocrite. Scientology persecutes gay men and woman, by supporting Prop 8 in CA along with so many crazy scams and crimes I can’t list here.
@MrFingerswalsh Act like i'm alternative? I bought OK Computer when it was released and I love it but it's not sacred to the point that it's untouchable by someone paying tribute to it. It's absolutely fine that you don't like it - that's the subjective nature of any art form, that's cool however don't denigrate the people that DO like it just because they don't share your view. It's fair to say you don't get it - move along. :)
@AlexSlams There IS something to get - that this video is a reference for the one that follows, the animated one in which she drowns. You can see all the motions she goes through in this one in real life before all of the effects have been laid down. And at the end she becomes still, which makes sense if you paid attention to this one and then saw the other.
Miss Amanda, this is why we love you. Giving us the opportunity to feel like we've had a personal connection with you, even if through a video on youtube... Is a beautiful thing.
@bollockowithalob Your borrowed point was really good. Be cool about it though! Sometimes being on different levels is really completely natural! Anyone really into music is by definition, self-involved with the artist in a certain way!
This series of videos breaking down the steps to producing the featured video is absolutely fascinating. Sometimes, it is as entertaining to watch the creative process as it is to watch the realized performance or to view the finished artifact. I get the impression that I am viewing the work of an artist whose greatest creation is her public self.
I always love watching 'behind the scenes' or 'making of' videos. It really makes you realise how much work goes into creating the amazing final products. Everything you touch is just wonderful, when everythings going to shit I switch on my mp3, listen to some AFP, and completely ignore the world.
For a while I forgot she's still a MIME until I saw this video. LOL

Ah, remembering Venice, teeth well ground, like a thinker, no opiates, unlike the only people I know who could make such striking sentences. Dig it.

Doesn't deserve to say the word Radiohead let alone try and 'sing' it. Terrible.

Quit self-involving with an artist.
