Driving down those dusty roads in the country to the little church in the woods where you could hear them singing when you pulled up to the church. You could hear those feet stomping and voicing singing and praising God. You didn't have air conditioning in the church...but God was in the house.

  • God will always be incharge of me♥ he brought me through to much for me to quit on him.

ppl now quit on God once they get what they wont from him. Once everything gone, they ask again. God will give us anything we want but we have to continue to do his will and live righteous. So I say please get right with Him. God is Love♥

  • raindropps- I love this song. It reminds us no matter what the circumstances, trails in our lives God is still in Charge of our lives. God will help. We must not lean to our own understanding. Its not by our might but His.

  • @mrluverman1024 who made all this? ...ever heard of something called the big bang... you better start to look arround...and if god made all of this and if he is in charge ...hes also responsible for poverty and war and sicknes and that makes him the biggest asshole evar

  • @Nikkoo1985 How are those that are sick being healed? How do people get delivered from that poverty? How do wars end? How are all those things possible without the power of God? Please don't take it like I'm attacking either, I'm just asking because you seem so sure about this "big bang."

  • @JDPayne1024 sick beeing healt by what we got from science... how many sick died when sciennce was not allowed by church... wars end by the ppl who make them stop...or countrys who surrender.. theres no god in it... theres no god at all... if theres one hes responseble for death and suffer which makes him worst than even the devil

  • @Nikkoo1985 WOW...I guess we will agree to disagree on that one

  • @JDPayne1024 lissn to john lennon´s imagine......if theres something making this world better..it can only be ppl...because if theres a god...he dont give a shit

  • @Nikkoo1985 I am so sorry you feel with lots of hurt. Baby there is a GOD trust me you turn over to GOD get rid of all that anger give your life to GOD you see he will make a diference we all have trails and tribulation we go threw the storm it only a test of your faith to see if you trust him the devil want you to feel that way GOD give love joy peace and happiness. i can say so much to you all isay is trust him and find the faith you lost he never leave your side or for sake you.

  • @sweetsherryp why dont u go to some poor ass countrys where ppl suffer and die of poverty and other shit...where children work as prostitutes and idk what else...tell them god never leaveas you...dont wonder when somone punches you in the face...look at the world and not just at the bright things and ask you whos responsible for that

  • @Nikkoo1985 Wow

  • Thanks Stewa81. This is a constant reminder to me that no matter what I go through, God is still in charge and always has the last say! Thanks for the encouragement to "Go On" Because God is still in charge!!

  • Man Man!!!

  • love this song always play it when I need encouragement

  • The Late Great WIllie Banks has always been one of my Grandmother's most favorite Gospel Singers. I Call him a Gospel Pioneer, down home gospel. That is what we need today more Willie Banks, more of the Rev. Shirley Ceasar, more of the Jackson Southernaires featuring the late Frank Williams, more of the late Great Howard Hunt of the Supreme Angels, more of the late Willie Neal Johnson and the Gospel Keynotes, so on and so forth Sister Albertina Walker and the Caravans and the list goes on...

  • i agree with you 110 percent i would also add to that list none other than the five singing sons please feel free to reply back after you've heard them.

  • This song puts it all in perspective...GOD IS IN CHARGE...regardless of what the enemy tries to throw our way to get us off track all we have to remember is that GOD is still in charge!!! Forget the world...GOD is in charge of my life!!! Thanks for posting. I grew up on quartet music and love Willie Banks & The Messengers.

  • i've been kicke, pull, pushed and turned all kinds of ways. One thing about it is that I know who holds my hand and I know that joy comes soon. Dear Lord, just help me make it through the night!! Amen.

  • im only 21 but i can relate to this song...many bad situations have come my way but guess what.....?GOD is still in charge y'all! thank ya JESUS!! hallelujah!!!

  • 26 here and I too feel this way. I grew up on this type of old school music and I prefer it to this day. :-)

  • One of the true classics of gospel music. With today's new generation of gospel, it's always refreshing to go "BACK HOME" and listen to these great, heartfelt songs. We are losing or have lost the "TRUE" giants of gospel. Thank GOD their music can live on forever. There a few groups I will listen to now, but in my opinion, give me the old quartet singing groups any day! It wasn't about the money or record sales. It was about finding lost souls and not forgetting that GOD WAS STILL IN CHARGE!

  • AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!! Aint it the TRUTH now. I'll take the old school any day over the more modern stuff any day, much like you stated. I Love & STILL do love this song. :-)

God is and always will be in charge of your life

  • For two days, I have been listening to this song over and over again. I have been listening to a live version that is so anointed. Often times we need to be reminded of the 'realness' of God. it is so easy to get discouraged and give up. But don't do it. In my job, I have seen many people give up and end their life for all kinds of reasons. But don't you do that because God has so much more for you than that. It's not over yet. GOD is still in CHARGE of your LIFE! Your life belongs to the LORD!

  • Missin u dad, I will always remeber what you taught me as your son. Be a respectable, God fearing young man and God will bless you. Dad, Just like you, God Is Still In Charge of My Life and will always be. See you in the morning.

  • MISSIN U MAMA

  • no matter what happens or how the enemy tries to tempt same song on a different note some days a high note on others a low note still on other days maybe a flat note but every day GOD IS STILL IN CHARGE OF MY LIFE! GLORY! GLORY! GLORY!

  • God is always in charge, whether we realize it or not. God gave us all jobs, and we can't even take at least 3 or 4 hours in church on Sunday, but we get up and go to a job for 8-12 hours. How do you think we got the job in the first place? If it was not for his goodness, we would not be here. Thank God everyday; He is ALWAYS in charge!

  • This is a beautiful song, and everything about it is true. God is truly still in charge and we all need to remember that. Rest in peace, Willie Banks. Love you.
