Tito called names when he was champion. he didn't want to fight the hard guys like BABALU, randleman, or Chuck, he wanted to fight old fucks and guys who matched up badly with him. I think he could, I believe that tito is far over rated and fought a washed up shamrock as his claim to fame but I think he has a couple good fights left. He drew with rashad and almost subbed lyoto. Machida did NOT run from Tito; he picked his spots and scored with some nice kicks and a beautiful knee late in the fight that dropped Tito. Bottom line, Machida dictated the pace of the fight. If Tito didn't like it, he should have done something about it and force Machida to fight his wrestling/ground and pound style. What starnes did was running, machida is just an elusive fighter. He was also barely over being in the hospital with strep throat before that fight, I think thats why he was more gun shy than usual. with that being said, I could care less if tito ever fights again, he hasn't beat anyone in a long time and the only people you hear that wanna see him fight are him and jenna. that must be the "huge" fanbase he always brags about.

I never liked Tito. I do think he is a poor fighter, hes had his time no doubt In the days of dismantling "The Lions Den". But after watching him on "The Ultimate Fighter" and the way he worked with those fighters, I gained ultimate respect for him, and lost respect in Ken Shamrock.
