Yeah, we're riding it too. Sadly, this is not the descent, we go the other way down to Buxton, shorter but still fun. The climb from Macc is a classic though

Nice vid. Live quite close to here. One of the UK's most dangerous roads. Motorcyclists death area. Watch out for cars coming down from (a) Wildboarclough shortcut; (b) Teggs Nose shortcut (both on left). Often use this road with bikes (in back of Berlingo-multispace on way to High peak Trail - LOL)

I think I would have been terrified in that weather without traffic.. with traffic I'm sure I'd have gone a little slower
