  • bob, great idea, i just saw a boa pedal today in a music store, and am going for it, will you recommend me this pedal for jazz and funk styles. thanks for the innovation man, and keep up the nice gadgets coming

  • @triodepunch Wow, the message I received just went like this...

emohaterjames has made a comment on "Drumheads Only" The B.O.A. Pedal System "Defined":

Hey Bob, I've got 3 single boa pedals and they are easily the best pedals ever made in my opinion and I've tried the lot. I've finally got tracked down a double and just had to drop you a line to say...what a piece of gear! its so well thought out. i love everything about it. thank you so much for this.

Thanks you really made my day trio!

  • Oops forgot to answer your question

The BOA works well in all styles... I think you going to really enjoy it.

  • @triodepunch dios mio! quien compro el pedal? rancho? demonios por favor hagan un review de este pedal si es que lo tienen, no importa que sea en otro canal. nunca pense encontrarme a trio de punch en videos como este.. wow saludos desde durango

  • I strictly play pdp, great drums and products..can't wait till the boa pedals come out again this year!

  • @drummie7 Me too... I 'm meeting with DW tomorrow!

  • I can't seem to find this pedal anywhere in a store where I can try it out. It seems fantastic, but I just gotta play it.

  • @GonzoDrummer27 The single and double BOA pedals are temporarily out of production. DW is our distributer. We are hoping to bring it back into the industry in 2011. You can DW for updates. Thanks for your interest in the BOA

  • We believed the younger generation of drummers were more likely to embrace innovation. The BOAl design was never compromised by the product brand...it could have been DW... possibly it will in the future.

That's great hear Don... you're very welcome... always a pleasure to help out my fellow drummers.

  • Thanks for your timely response, Bob. I have one more question for you. Why is the Boa pedal marketed under the Pacific brand rather than the "higher end" brand of D.W.?

As far as I can tell thus far, (knock on wood) it's a wonderful product nonetheless.

By the way, I followed your youtube instructional video to get them set up...

    Piece of cake.... Thanks!

    Don.

  • Hi, Bob! I just picked up a boa double pedal today. I haven't played it yet but have been working with it to get the pedals balanced. They feel great and getting them there was a lot easier than I thought. My concern at this point is not so much how well it works as much as how durable it is. As great as the concept is, the flexible, springless foot board is a bit of a concern to me, which has me wondering why production has been halted. Time will tell, I guess. But again, great concept.

    Don.

  • @DSlam BIG thanks Don! We licensed the BOA patents to DW. However, the economic downturn has affected all of our Percussion companies by having to scale back. We hope to re-release the BOA system in 2011! Hang in there with us my friend... and again... BIG thanks. I love the BOA!

  • if you re-release this pedal, will it come in a double pedal??

  • @XsitogrinderX Yes, the re-release will be exclusively on the single & double pedal. Currently the High Hat and Practice can be purchased thru DW.

  • Is this available in Canada? Because I reeeeaaally want one!

  • @CueAwesome The BOA is temporarily out of production. DW is planning a re-release in 2011. Hang in there bud!

  • @bobgatzen - I saw this video and fell in love with it! I want the pedal and the hihat stand! Bob, thanks for all you do for the drummer community!

  • @ariesram74 Thanks back arie! Always a pleasure to help out

  • Hey Mr Gatzen! can i get this in any music shops Singapore? Thank You! =)

    Firdaus

  • @percboy93 My friends call me Bob... so please... call me Bob

The BOA single & double pedals are out of production momentarily. New updates for a 2011 release... hang there my friend!

    Bop

  • @bobgatzen Ok Bob. I'll be waiting. =)

  • I have found a great deal of two of these (I use two bass drums) And they seem very high quality and they look like they are comparable to Axis Longboards, Pearl Demon Drives and Trick V1-Pro's. I just wonder, are they any good for metal? I'm not really into the blistering fast double bass rolls, But i play alot of heavy slow double bass rolls and fast triplets and quads. Also, i want tobe able to play fast rolls as well. Thanks a lot!

  • @GTAtomten Have you checked out the Marco Minneman vids on the channel...Marco is into the BOA and is current touring with a speed metal group from germany. I guess the answer is YES, the BOA should work fine for you.

  • @bobgatzen Alright, thanks =)

  • Thanks bob for responding. I am looking forward to checking out the new BOA. I also emailed DW about when they plan to release it.

  • Also, does the pedal board itself flex under the foot or is it solid like other pedal boards? Can a person get real lose or real tight spring tension on this pedal? Why did DW stop production on the current line of BOA's?

How do you feel the new BOA double pedal thats coming out compares to the new axis laser double pedal? Im trying to decide on what double pedal that i want to buy so i very well may wait till the new BOA double comes out before i buy anything.

    Thanks!

  • @drummingman The board is the spring... think of it as a diving board on a swimming pool. The feel is ultra fast and dead silent... there's nothing like it which is why we have 3 patents on it.

  • @bobgatzen Bob, looks like a very interesting concept. My only question or engineering concern at this point would be the action adjustment option. Not every drummer feels a pedal the same way...big feet, small feet, heavy hitters, not-so heavy hitters. Has this issue been addressed? Thanks.

  • @XDrummerSteve Honestly? Feedback from drummers that are not "stuck" in tradition has been fantastic! Not surprised.

  • @drummingman Oops forgot to say you're welcome and thanks for your interest in the BOA system

  • is there repell megnets under the flex bourd?

  • @worblfloss No, the board is the spring mechanism. It's made of a spring type material that resembles and behaves like a diving board.

  • hey bob!! well i just want to know where to buy the B.O.A. pedal because i just bought a new drumset but the pedal it came with sucks alot .... hope to hear from you son

  • @robdyerdek Hi rob,

The BOA single & dbl pedals are currently out of production. We are updating the pedals for a 2011 release. The HH and Practice pedals are still available. You can contact DW online for more specifics. Thanks for your support!

  • i wonder if the foot board ever break since it acts as the spring and bends alot?

  • @johnnyquach1915691 The track record has been excellent. The board material is utilized on truck leaf springs...it's very tough stuff!

  • Hi Bob, i have some ideas related to the drum improvement and innovation. How can i contact you so you can give me an opinion or even help me sold them.

P.S. I love your videos and your enthusiasm. Its really inspiring.

  • @vanjamarinkovic

Thanks Van! Best to write me as a Personal message" on YT. This way our conversation is kept confidential.

  • Oh one thing, I heard that this pedal isnt that durable... Is it true?

  • I am still using prototypes from 3 years ago. No problems.

  • Wow, the idea is great! I would love to test that pedal...

  • At this timethe BOA is temporarily out of production. However, we will supply customers interested in purchasing a BOA Bass Drum or Hi-Hat pedal as long as we have the materials on hand. We will continue to handle any warranty issues through customer service.

    Thanks for your understanding,

    Bob

  • this looks really awesome, the only question i have though, is, can you adjust the tension of the foot board or is it unadjustable?

  • On the contrary... the levels of adjustment go beyond the traditional coil spring tensioning. There are 2 allen screws and a plate located at the back of the pedal board. Loosening the screws allows the pedal board to Slide forwards and backwards changing the amount of tension. It's actually easier than dealing with a coil spring set-up.

  • Damn! That's a great idea! And seems so simple! I would like to try this one out :)

  • is this good for ppl wit big feet

  • Hi Bob

I have found a way to make your (excellent) pedal 2 to 3 times faster, with a lot more control. See how at "Drumagination Inventions" here on Youtube.

    Mark

  • Bob, I can't find this anywhere!

Can you send me a link of a good place to find one?

  • Best to contact DW Drums online for a BOA dealer near you. DW distributes the BOA system

  • hey bob, this pedal looks really cool and i would love to try it but one question i have is about the flexability of the footboard(where the teasion is controled) and how fast it will lose its flexability and possibly need replaced. like playing with a medium to high tesion but will this last as long as a regular pedal spring would?

  • Actually, spring (foot board) durability is one of the BOA's assets. I have 4 year old prototypes that feel exactly the same as the day I started playing them!

  • bob, is it possible to make a hi hat pedal that when you push it the hi hat opens, instead of the way it is currently where you have to keep it pushed down to close the hi hat?

  • Sure, a mechanism could be designed to reverse upward thrust. I've never seen anything like that?

  • Hi Bob

I saw one of your pedals in Denmark....they are very well made. Please check for private message.

    Mark Steele

    Drumagination, Inc.

  • Hi Mr. Gatzen! I was wonderin about the desing of the pedal and thought that would it be possible to somehow make this pedal "long board"? Or is it already possible to set up this pedal to longboard mode? I have kind of big feet and tech so im still looking for a long pedal and I also like long foot boards. Thou I dislike Axis. Sincerely Yours and Greetings from Finland -JK

  • Thanks for writing JK.

Due to the BOA's unique design, the long board feature is a bit to execute. We haven't had enough demand to redesign the BOA in this format. I will send your letter to DW. We'll keep our eyes on it.

  • Thanks Frank, so far so good... if only the economy were better right now.

  • Hey Bob, I think its really cool that you share your knowledge of this, because I am so stoked to buy it. Anyways, I just want to say how much I favor all PDP merch! I have a PDP drum set and hardware. I even have the 402 double pedal. I used to have a Pearl Powershifter, but it broke, so I tried the 402 pedal, and I virtually find no difference, even though the pearl pedal is $70 more, which makes me so stoked for this. Lasly can you do me a favor and pass this on to DW? Thanks, and bye!!

  • Done deal my friend. I sent it to our product manager.

  • i hope it all goes well and you make a lot of money.how come i havent seen this pedal yet.does it sell in all drum shops or just america or something?

  • Innovative designs like this take time to spread so it's in scattered # of stores. Best to write DW online for dealers. Especially in this economy most stores opt for the tried and true... just the reality of it.

  • Great stuff.

how do we adjust the tension?

I may like to play a harder feel.

And being a lefty is totally a damnation in music.

All the hardware/intruments are mostly %30-50 expensive.

I bet a lefty twin boa would cost 550$ , damn.

  • 2 Allen screws at the back of the pedal board are loosened tallowing it to be shifted forward for less tension and vice versa. The Double pedal seems to run between 450.550. street pricing. We are working on the lefty, should be out soon. You could write dwdrums for release a date

  • sick pedal

How come it ended up being a pdp brand pedal instead of dw?

  • We (DW) felt younger drummers would be more apt to try a highly innovative pedal design. The vets seem to get stuck on specific gear and are unwilling to change. I acn assure you, there is nothing cheesy in the quality of the BOA which is why it's priced about the same as the DW 5000's.

  • i like it. 2 questions though: 1, does it come in a double bass pedal? and 2, how much would this cost me ?

  • Absolutely, the double is the biggest seller. Not sure street-wise. The BOA is priced close to the DW 5000 line.

  • thats incredible :) but how do you adjust the tension? i know not many people do, but i usually tighten up my springs a decent amount for more control

  • The pedal board is the spring. You just loosen 2 allen screws and move the board forward for less tension and vice versa. The BOA has more tension range than traditional pedals. Same for the Hi -Hat.

  • very nice :)

  • Bob, you never stop amazing me... your playing is awesomely clean and now you're branching out into product modification. Well done!!

  • Thanks very much. For me, it's a process that connects science & art. In my mind, every idea begins with a physical element (science) than apply creativity and there ya go...a recipe you can rely on that can be applied to just about anything your after

  • Pardon my ignorance, but I can't seem to understand why anybody still makes shortboards. The extra 2 inches on longboards makes a HUGE difference in power and versatility. Think of it this way: Axis shortboards = terrible; they have no power.

    Axis longboards = awesome!

    Trick shortboards = crap;

    Trick Bigfoots = awesome.

Soooo, if most DW pedals = pretty good; then DW longboards = crazy awesome!

    It's simple math!

  • I don't disagree with your "opinion" but it's not just about power. For some it's about articulation and a particular feel. I've heard astounding technique generated from both formats.

  • Oh, I forgot to ask you! Are there lefty versions?

  • Not quite yet... almost there. You could write DW online about your interest... consumer demand helps keep things moving

  • You could make a LONGBOARD version! Nobody would ever again buy any axis pedals! Please tell me you have already considered making one in the near future!!! I would kill for that!

  • It's a little more complicated than you might think but it's on our list. There haven't been enough demand to justify the investment. I'll forward your message to DW...thanks and Happy new Year!

  • Yes, I believe it is. I mean, Axis longboards are great for heel toe(look at what Tim Waterson does with them!), but a boa longboard wouldn't have the same physics. I think they would give more resistance when hitting them with the heel near the flex joint.

Happy New Year to you too!

  • wow, ya know ive been looking for a new d-bass pedal, this pedal sounds perfect no hinges or springs no wear and tear, i hate when i hear little things wearing out. should i replace the hihat too?

  • The hi-hat is killer! No clunking, smooth as silk. I suggest going for both.. it's a system

  • Interesting concept. I love innovation.

  • me too!

  • Sorry can't help ya there Anthony. Maybe try Ebay?

  • This looks like a good competitor to the Axis pedals =]

  • Sure hope so. Thanks Bob

  • q popopopoo

  • got one today, very weird feeling but I ind a liked it instantly :)

  • Play on it for at least 2 weeks without going back to your previous pedal. This is the best way to evaluate a new design format. Please let me know how it works out.

  • I didn't know Mr. Gatzen was the inventor. Congrats! I haven't had a chance to play it myself.

  • i just have one question this may be a bit of a problem regarding the tension of the pedal how can you adjust the tension since there is no spring....

  • The back end of the pedal board is shaved down allowing the pedal board to flex. There are 2 slots in the flexible area of board. Moving it fully forward lengthens the bow providing low tension and moving the board backward increases tension. The BOA has more range of tension adjustment than a traditional spring driven pedal.

  • i absolutely LOVE this design but one possible problem i thought of in the design... (and please correct me if im wrong) but if its suppose to be like a divingboard ive noticed if u jump off the divingboard it will keep wiggling after and shaking for quite sometime.. will it go spastic and possibly hit the bass drum? or i there a pretty good range of control on this?

  • every pedal wiggles after you hit it, so i don't think it's any different in this aspect.

  • how can i buy this "ship"

    from whichh site?

    big thanks to Bob

  • So like, are there doubles.

I'd like to see how the double version works if there is one.

  • It has just become available. We spent the better part of last year perfecting it. The double came out fantastic. I don't think you'll be disappointed.I suggest contact DW on;ine for a local dealer.

  • 535$ canadian prbbly the same for usa

  • "hardly ever wear out" he says, im actually concerned how much wearing it is, cause if i use this for practicing and metal performance im gonna bash it... anyone that actually has one knows? or estimates?

  • The Marco Minnemann video on the DW/PDP site is an example of intense performance demonstrating the simplicity and durability of the BOA. Less is best when it comes to durability. Marco is out playing with a death/speed metal group in germany. he is putting the BOA to the extreme test...so far so good...no crashes. Also you should look at the "BOA Defined" vid on the channel.

  • i already did check the BOA Defined vid, and after reading this i already had heard marco minnemann`s work on metal but had no idea he used the pedals thanks alot ill be keeping BOA pedals in mind when purchasing my next pedals =)

  • what are they called?

  • It's the B.O.A. Pedal system. You can visit the DW site, click on "PDP" and see the "Bob Gatzen & Marco Minnemann" video. Also check out the vid "The BOA Pedal System Defined" on this channel

  • By the way Bob, these are the best pedals I have ever played in my life and I have been playing for 15 years now. For playing modern metal, they are very fast and feel way more precise then the Axis double pedal I used to own. Thank you for creating these awesome pedals.

  • Thanks In! BTW, We just shot a video with Marco Minnemann and myself at DW. I will be posting within a week or so. Marco will be speaking directly to you! He is currently touring with a death metal group. His chops are at a new level since I last seen him. Please stay tuned... thanks again.

  • Hi bob i want to ask you a thing.are these pedals fast as axis and strong at the same level?are they expensive?

  • I agree with InSiGnIfIgAnTcHaNgE's response. The BOA design embraces simplicity. Less moving parts, silent and fast due to the innovative spring mechanism.

  • u DO NOT WANT TO GET AXIS trust me dude they are a bitch to adjust unlike the BOA although i use the iron cobras, sorry bob

  • These pedals are not over-priced. They are less expensive then both Axis longboards and Trick V pedals. As far as Im concerned , these pedals are better then both Axis and Trick due to a shitload of reasons.

  • what is the cost of these pedals?

  • no nvm that one has a spring

  • I have an idea of an auto-bass pedal being battery powered..you have a motorcycle style throttle tied to your drumsticks and when you want to go into blastbeats you squeeze both sticks..to get a triplet feel you tap the throttle etc. I play a lot of instruments and i dont have the time to play like tomas hakke.

  • I am trying to build a double bass pedal because they are rediculously overpriced.

  • I have a new design for a drumpedal that I think will give drummers the flexibility they crave. Do you have any tips for how to put my ideas into produkts

  • If your really believe in your idea. invest into it. Patent it and shop it to percussion manufacturers. You have to ask yourself, "If I'm not willing to invest into my invention why would I expect someone else to?" I suggest taking out a "utility" patent for a year. This is the least amount of $ for a year's worth of protection.

  • I had thought for years that a spring board type of drum pedal would be a good thing. Never thought anyone would actually design and market one. I have to check this out. Come up with some more inventions. I like the way you think.

  • Thanks G. Everyone has a special talent. Mine is taking the idea beyond thought

  • Yeah...well keep doing it. You're ideas are great.

  • So Bob, after the Iron Cobra pedals we have more snakes in the pedal world ;-) .

Great design, it also solved the problem DW had whit broken pedalboards (see pearldrumforum).

The other pedal I am watching whit big eyes today is the one from Trick .. also deathsounding, quick but expensive !

I keep my Cobra snake (pedal) for a while now.

  • i want this pedal so bad, it seems like this pedal would be amazing for me and what i look for in my playing technique. What is your idea on two singles for two bass drums?

  • My personal fav is the double. The way the primary beater design feels great. But for 2 BD's... yeah 2 singles should do the trick. Don't for get the hi-hat... everyone raves about it.

  • thanx

    im sold lol

  • I personally like the B.O.A and i definitely plan on getting one ASAP!!! The catapult seems too far fetched, whereas Bob's B.O.A pedal has this great idea behind it, a theory upon which it's function is based. That's why it works, right? Congratulations on this pedal Bob, you really have truly revolutionised the whole idea of the bass drum pedal.

  • Thank you very much!

  • man thats sweet

  • Thank you!

  • How do you adjust the tension ?

  • Two Allen screws are loosened allowing the pedal board to be moved forwards (lowest tension) & backwards (highest tension). Easier that adjusting the trad. spring.

  • wow, k i know know exactly what pedal i am gettin, even if i have to save up for a while, haha great idea, glas it has become a reality

  • Thanks Jay, This is an idea that taking on a life. We now have have 3 major endorsers, Marco Minnemann, Scott Ellis and Joey Castillo! Idea babies...I'm in 7th heaven!

  • No prob, i should be the one saying thanks to you for comin up with this, i was havin a hard time trying to choose one but this one is just so cool not just in how it works, but how it looks. cant wait to get my hands, or feet rather onto one, haha

  • hey bob you rock.....and you have a great idea. Would it be posable to mabe a longbored vesion kinda like the axis.....how much dose the double verion go for?

  • Thanks Duck! At this time a longer board is not a priority. The double is about the same price as the the DW 5000.

  • Hmmm, seems like the "diving board" would one day stop being so flexible or it would just break off the rest of the pedal. Is the tension easily adjusted too? Seems like it would be a good idea though.

  • The board is a composite material, very tough stuff. One of it's apps is leaf springs on cars and trucks. We've haven't a failure yet. Check out "The BOA Defined" video. I explain the pedals system in detail.

  • are there any plans for a BOA remote hihat? because that would make this the best pedal system ever.

  • Agreed...good idea, totally possible but not in our sights yet. We just completed the double pedal.

  • Mr Gatzen where can I purchase you're product?

And do you have have a double pedal with no heel plate?

  • The BOA is distributed by Drum Workshop. You can go to their site to locate a dealer in your area. Yes, the double is shipping now. The BOA design doesn't require a traditional heel-plate best to check out "Drumheads Only" The B.O.A. Pedal System "Defined" video. I describe in detail, how the BOA works... and please call me "Bob"...Mr. Gatzen makes me feel old..er

  • Sorry, it was out of respect

  • Please don't be...I appreciate that but I say that to you with a little chuckle.I like to be informal.

  • Oh and thanx for getting back to me promptly I really appreciate what youre doing for everyone!

  • Hi Bob! first of all, I love your videos, and I thank you for being such a devoted drummer and for helping us. I don't know if somebody has asked this yet, but can I ask your opinion about the GIBRALTAR "CATAPULT Linear motion pedal".? thanks! and I'll wait for your pedal to reach here!

  • The BOA and Catapult are 2 different animals. The BOA is geared towards all styles of pedal techique. The Catapult is more specialized. I found it most friendly for "heel-down" technique. Best to do comparison testing yourself before making any decisions.

  • Thanks Sir!

  • wow bob, that's great!!! I'd really love to try out a double pedal, cos my Iron Cobra Power Glide is great, but the left pedal is not really good and makes terrible noises!!! ;) GREAT IDEA!!

  • will you be making them as slave kicks as well or only single pedals? becuase those seem like an incredible idea.

  • The cool is the secondary pedal on the new BOA double pedal is ready for single pedal use. Just pop in a beater and your there. Please check out "The B.O.A. Pedal Defined" vid for more details

  • Hi Bob,

thanx so much for all the info and genious/scientific explinations!!!!

I like your sence of humor and how humble you are!

Do you have any videos or info on how to setup a DW 5000 double pedal? I can not set it up propperly.

It doenst stay steady on my wooden tama hoop.

the hoop does not sit firmly or steady on the pedal what can i do?

    thanx!!!!

  • Well, thanks to you!

Check the round, knurled nut on top of the hold-down piece. It is locked with a small Allen screw that at times comes losse and falls out. Tighten the nut downwards and you should be able to able more pressure against the hoop.

  • whoa... thats really cool. thatd be awesome to have a job to iinvent stuff like that. nice job!

  • Hi Bob. I really like the way you presented this pedal. Confident, informative and not at all salesy (is that a word?) Actually, the camera work is really good too. How much are these pedals and where can we buy? (Surprised no-one asked this.)

  • Thank you!

The BOA pedals run about the same price as DW 5000's. Best to contact DW for specific dealer info.

  • FELICITACIONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • good luck with developement, great innovation...

  • very nice idea. congrats. so you basically took off the springs in the front, and replaced them with smaller ones in the back end and under the pedal surface? (at least thats what I understood!)

and also, the front part of the mechanisam seems to be too ahead of the beater, so that it might scratch the drums surface, does that happen?

  • Thanks you! The pedal board is made out of a composite material which acts like a "bow" (& Arrow) or a diving board. There are no "traditional" springs.

The pedal board can be adjusted to each drum to clear the head surface. You can check the "BOA" pedal system out at dwdrums.

  • this product seems good but surely the tension would be the same on the pedal and unchangable? comment back please

  • On the contrary, the tension is fully adjustable with more range in tension than a traditional spring driven pedal.

  • Nice, looks really good. Has a nice bounce to it. I find my left drum pedal really doesn't have that good a bounce to it, no matter what I do to the spring. The spring is also loud and squeaky. It was like that when I got it.

  • hey bob =] thanks for the message you sent me

  • i would like to try it out for myself, im curious, i know springs wear out eventually but will the 'bendy metal' eventually lose its springiness? and how long would it last? but i liek the idea and i cant wait to test one out and compare to spring =]

  • ive been hearing a lot about this pedal lately however i had no idea that you were the genius behind the idea. i cant wait to get my hands on one of these thanks a lot for the idea!

  • really glad you've had success, you seem very pleased with your self haha... good luck with it!

  • Hope I didn't sound "cocky". It's just that I get enthusiastic about inventions, ideas! Whether there mine or someone elses...doesn't matter. Thanks for the "good luck".

  • Nah, not cocky at all, just deservedly excited haha. i really really enjoy your videos... lot of inspiration and i just like the way you teach.

  • Just ocurred to me, your idea is perfect for hihat/doublebasspedal clutch interaction.

I bet you can come up with a good system to integrate both into your BoA and make drumming easier and more precise.

  • Yes, the BOA technology applies to all pedal versions which includes the single, double, hi-hat and even a practice pedal. Fast, precise and quiet well describes the BOA design.

  • Good suggestion.

Done deal...The B.O.A. design is a complete pedal system. HH, SP, DP, Practice pedal...Trigger pedal just around the corner.

  • Thats great, congrats once again and hopefully someday they do arrive to Argentina and i can try one out :)

Its really neat being able to interact like this and realize there are actually other drummers on the other side of the deal.

  • Finally, you should try an make an electronic pedal with no beater, seems way easier to copy the bass pedal action with your new invention and give it an electronic sensor for electronic drums kits (hihat pedal too!) than with a standard setting which still need the beater actually hitting a sensor.

  • Congrats!

Looks trully amazing, how do you handle different flexibilities reactions though? some drummers like it soft some like it harder, maybe having a central interchangeable different matarial shaft or something?

Also what about the beater head? flexibility there should add a lot of playing options for rebounds etcs.
