  • Love this so much. I've listened and re-listened to this a few times. The subtle vocals in the middle were also a nice touch.

  • Loved the GitS-esque-style-influence... just out of curiousity is that your voice I hear at 2:43? It sounds nasal-ly, and Austrailian, no offence ;D

  • Brilliant.. Amazing composition. This is the eighth time I've come back to listen to it, so I suppose you could say it's addictive as well. I can understand that some would like instruments added to the 3 minute-ish part, but if this came to be background music in a game, (not just for entertainment purposes), you wouldn't want a lot of strong instruments that stand out. You succeeded in getting across the melody to the listeners in a way that will have them humming it wherever they go.

  • Very well done. I thought that there could've been something in that slightly empty-sounding space in the third minute, though.

  • It's amazing! *_*

Which program do you use for your music? >.>

  • @XxBusisxX Thanks! Check out all the products by a company called Spectrasonics. In particular Omnisphere, Trillion and Stylus RMX.

  • i appreciate you consider my comment, though i want to point out that in any case it is just the way it sounds to ME and what I would expect.

it is your piece after all and i don't have any background to question your composition.

which i don't do anyway, but i just wanted to point it out, once it might sound too "knowing"

thank you for your music, i really enjoy it and i hope it is alot of pleasure to you to create it.

  • Hell yeah! I haven't checked out your releases for a while, but this is absolutely awesome! I captures right atmosphere at the moment it begings. It could be in some kind of psychedelic boss fight as well.

  • words cant describe how much i love this kev =P

im a big ghost in the shell fan and this hit home!

  • @max05XIII chiyaz!

  • Great work.

  • @KCJacksonMuz thank you

  • I really like it. Its something I could easily imagine being in a videogame

  • @sonicx2218 that's cool to hear. thanks!

  • i love how you make the guitar sound!

    very crunchy and warm!

makes it sound very alive while the background sounds very smooth and crystalic polished.

totally goes with the gits yk style!

you fuel my admiration as-well as my envy(in a good way!)

i just expected more variation melodywhise with the guitar... that it would start off to go faster, earlier.

as i love the faster playing at 4:34 and later on!

my ears feel pleased thanks to you =)

  • @CalinedMusic so what sort of variations were you looking for?

  • @happyramenstudios

maybe it's not the right word i am using.

it sounds like it's "starting off" any time... but then it stays at that level and ends.

it's probably meant to be steady! =)

it's just what it sounds like for my ear and i go like "aaah now! ...no.. now!"

build up tension and intro-esque-atmosphere =)

  • @CalinedMusic ahh I get what you mean. Well yeah the progression is coming by adding more instruments and changing the material, different chords, melodies etc. I see what you mean though. I'll see if I should apply it next time.

  • @happyramenstudios and again it's grrrreat in the atmosphere and how close you got the style nailed down!

i am very impressed by that!

  • Ghost in the Shell!

  • @jonaspv hells yeahhhhhh

  • Beat made with Stylus RMX ?? Sounds amazing !

  • @RidvanDuzey yeah it's stylux but I got reverbs and distortions on them.

  • Awesome work. :D

  • @Book5550 thank you!

  • Love it. <3 *favourited* ^__~

  • @SabrinaValenzuela naww thanks sab!

  • VERY AWESOME!

  • @toneFT very happy to hear that!

  • Love it! Though I would've preferred if it had more of a pickup early on, maybe had you added some snare hits in. Idk maybe I'm too much of a beat-head.

  • @itsachickenwiththing nahh it's cool. at where in particular?

  • @happyramenstudios Like around the 0:40 mark, to complement the kick parts

  • I can tell by your last couple songs that you've really been influenced by Yoko Kanno's work on Ghost in the Shell (Correct me if I'm wrong), and I love it! Very atmospheric

  • @garoad yeah you're spot on lol

  • i really love that touch of forlorn sadness. enjoy your trip to japan kevin.

  • @ri07ac thank you!
