@vernyl26 - Depending on the size and weight of TV and what's actually behind the plasterboard, you can use drywall anchors (for light weight installs) or frame fixings (for medium weight TVs) or steel threaded rods and resin on plasterboard walls with breezeblock behind (for heavy TVs).
Sorry we cannot be more specific, but there are so many types of installation that without more information it would be difficult to say. The above three methods will cover most situations though.
An excellent video! Fixing plasma TV to wall this weekend, and I am by no means a handyman. So viewing a few instructional videos to get different perspectives and tips.
Tips I thought were particularly great were 1. Using masking tape to mark bottom of TV on wall, 2. Determining eye height - image of line across middle of the screen was very helpful, and 3. Drilling pilot holes. (Though wasn't clear if you do this with plasterboard/wall studs)
Not sure if that comment is particularly constructive, but in answer to your question we are a professional install company so we use industrial tools for many jobs. Yes, you can use a smaller domestic drill for the same purpose.
Mount featured is the Peerless PerfectMount PEWS350 fully articulated bracket. Please see the description of this video for a link to the product on our website.
When mounting on a stud wall, a stud finder enables you to locate a solid stud in order to ensure that the bracket has a firm purchase on the wall you are attaching it to. This does not apply to solid brick walls, although some stud finders will also act as a live wire detector to avoid drilling through electrical cables or pipes.
simply-av. com installed my tv in my flat in london, and done a professional Av job with speakers mounts and all cables hidden in the wall. try them guys, they cover most of the united kingdom i think. please note there uk based only.
The wall plugs supplied are professional install standard 4 inch plugs, which are then secured with reinforced 4 inch bolts. These are all supplied as standard with Peerless brackets.
Although we would not advise it, we actually had someone hang off the bracket to test the stability. Needless to say it was rock solid with no movement.
The stability of the bracket would also depend on the type of wall you are attaching it to. In this example we are using a solid brick wall.
ye i no but i never use them i still think its the safest way to use them shield anchor bolts thay are the strongest plug thing ya no i strongly recomend them
I'm going to install on the same plaster over concrete, I think it may even be Center block. But I want to use led anchors/plugs so is led anchors safer than plastic or what when I hung my ceiling fan and book shelves I used the led anchors. They have all been up there for about 4yrs or so. But which should I use? The TV is a 55" and 77lbs.Thanx BTW great vid.
Using lead anchors is another option and could give some extra stability over plastic ones. There would certainly be no negative effect in using them instead of the supplied ones.
We would state however that plastic anchors will still provide the necessary stability to install the maximum size and weight of TV with this bracket.
Nice gonna save this to my favotires. Cause in a few yrs or so I will move out and my parents and I will turn my bedroom into a guest room with a nice 32 inch lcd in it. :)

Use SNAPTOGGLE Toggle Bolts or ALLIGATOR Anchors. These hold more weight than any other anchors. Available at Toolfix in Petersbourough in the UK.
