@savator408 no the Noctua is better at extreme volts, the Silver Arrow is maybe degree or 2 better at low overclocks but when you really start to push a CPU the Noctua out-performs the Silver Arrow.

I'd really like to pick up this cooler to replace my i7 stock cooler, but i'd like to know exactly how to check my measurements to make sure it will fit. Can anyone give me the proper way to check the measurements?

@dakkon10 Unless you have a side fan that's right above the CPU and goes into the case, anything over 8 inches will fit this cooler. For example, a 20in x 8in x 20in CM690 II Adv. can fit this cooler but not with a side fan.

I've seen this cooler make come cases look tiny but I hope it looks proportionate in a HAF-X lol. i7-930 4ghz+ here I come!!

My temps arnt as good as the one on the reviews and I only have an E2180 :( Any ideas why this would happen?
