yea theirs no fine-line to the definition of dubstep, old-school reggae dub fits the description, yet they dont call it that, and bassnectar has alot of great tunes that have not been dubstep... yet he is still considered a dubstep artist in many's minds...

not taking sides, but a wobble doesnt instantly make something dubstep. and vice versa, a dubstep track doesnt necessarily mean youll hear a wobble. gotta keep all that shit in mind.

@ everyone saying something about the genre of this song: How about in all honesty genres in music, especially EDM, becomes just a way for an artist to make themselves feel original. Dubstep and drum n bass are so linked together that it's weird to get picky about it, take your beat, make your sounds, and fuck the snare, the snare is just the clubbers to bounce to. It's dub, its drum and bass like, then it's also got some house elements to it, face it it's all just Electronic Dance music EDM.

no, it's not. it's down tempo. bassnectar does not always = dubstep that's what makes him good.

so you know, dubstep is defined by being in 2/4, or if you can count measures, try counting regular quarter notes and if the snare hits on the 3 of the measure it is the implied half-time that defines dubstep.
