  • So, gallo music is another variety of breton music. The expression "celtic music" doesn't really mean anything : breton, irish, welsh and scottish languages are all celtic BUT breton, welsh and irish/scottish music are very different.

  • So they are speaking in Gallo? Is Gallo music another variety of Celtic music?

  • Not at all ! They are not singing in "gallo" but in breton language that is a celtic language (close to the welsh language) !

    People used to speak "gallo" in eastern Brittany (Nantes, Rennes, St-Brieuc for an example) that is a kind of french language while people speak breton language in western Brittany (Vannes, Quimper, Lannion...).
