Yo I don't get why TKK be hiding his losses; go check his website out, the matches between Geom v. Tkk go from 1-12, and then like the last 5 matches that were critical AND WHERE TKK LOST CONSECUTIVELY are missing; i mean you say you're a grown man, why don't you back all that high talk with action, dayum. TKK put up the vids where he is mostly winnin, that's real shady. Props to you geom for the good games
@Omegax9000 your a fucking moron go back to school ya dig that, statistically speaking they are equal seeing that the score was by a hair, if it was 10-5 or 10- 4 then it would be clear that it was a blow out... learn your stats b4 commenting
@NYCxPLAYB0Y Did I ever stat that it was a blowout you fucking retard. You sick because I know a good doctor. Is the person with 9 the winner? No, he fucking lost I don't care how close it was he still fucking lost. I don't need a class to teach me a basic fucking concept like that you dumbass goat fucker.
@joztron if you watch any of TKK's balrog videos, he rarely misses that combo. Lag was definitely a factor here. So I guess I should rephrase my comment. TKK missed his overhead combo due to lag, which cost him the game.
Lag effects nothing but footsies and throw teching. If you practice, your combos become muscle memory, straight up. The button delay doesn't change a thing in that regard.
That was the dumbest thing ever said about Street Fighter ever. The button delay doesn't change a thing? How can it affect throw teching but not combos or anything else?
Because you have to react to throw teching, and online the lag reduces the window for you to tech your throws. If you're using visual cues for your combos then it's more than likely you just can't perform them well enough in the first place. In order for combos to be 100% effective they should just be muscle memory. That way you'll never miss them. If you play online ever, you should know what you're up against. No excuses.
Haha. No.. just no. If it reduces the time to tech throws, which is 3 frames on normal throws, then it would obviously make the already strict timing of 1-frame links even harder than throw teching. Even if it is muscle memory, online drops inputs and isn't always accurate to 1/60th of a second ( there are 60 frames in a second. ) You still don't make any sense. It can't possibly be harder to tech throws but not harder to do combos and play on reaction footsies.
Yes, when TKK goes into training mode to practice, the game automatically sets it to 2 bar connection. No matter how hard you practice your combos or muscle memory, lag will drop inputs. The buttons aren't delaying, the inputs are simply being dropped. That's SF4 net code for ya.
you beat TKK fair and square. By choosing to continue to playing with you even when he had a huge lead, he's forfeited his right to complain. As if when you were losing, lag was no issue but suddenly when you come back from 8-2 it is? Its like please dude, come on.
The last few matches I've watched seem to be the polar opposite of the 7 videos I watched last night. I was certain you were going to lose this set, as it seemed TKK had you completely figured out.
Going into the second half, the series seemed to take a flip with you setting the pace for most of the matches.
Are you fucking kidding me? Guile plays exactly like that. Throws and turtling, he is even being an aggressive Guile. Way to suck up to TKK. I agree he is really good, but best?
Video capture issues, a problem with Win7 and my capture card, since I had to reinstall both windows I opted to install Win7 first, that was a mistake.

What are we all DSP now?
If you play online there is some lag, on BOTH sides for BOTH players.
TKK lost fair and square online. If they had a rematch would be close again, so it is safe to say with a score of 10-9 they are equal players.

@LiftEatSleep 10-9 is not equal one is better and that one is the one who won with ten the person with nine is the first loser you dig?

TKK missed his overhead combo into ultra in the few sec, which would've won him the second round.

lol, 2 bar con and he's using guile vs rog... chances are the guile should have won, but the balrog prevailed
if it was a 4-5 bar con it would have been no comp for this balrog
Kollindyr 2 years ago
@Kollindyr Ok... Lag affects both players, despite the characters they've chosen.
It's pretty evident throughout the entire set that neither one of these players were playing up to their potential.
Personally, I feel the matches would end with more or less the same result - with both players making far less mistakes.
xxvic1ousxx 2 years ago
no doubt lag affects both players, but it plays in favor for the guile player...
even without lag, the game is in guiles favor, he would have been dead if tkk played ryu
Kollindyr 2 years ago
I don't see how lag would favor any specific character -- care to elaborate?

@Kollindyr Check out GeoM MoDInside (Guile) vs TKK (Ryu) 06 and you will eat those foolish words! Also note round 1...it's a doozy!! xp
