" i dont want a letter...i dont want a fucking letter..." and then...in.this fucking day,,,,my girlfriend gived me a letter :(((( :'''((....going nowhere :((
My favorite Philip Seymour Hoffman film and, conincidently, my favorite Elliott Smith song. I remember crying in the car listening to this song for the first time. It was just too much at the time. Paired with one of my favorite films, it's fantastic.
Perfect. 'Going nowhere' is the a perfect choice for this clip. I wish that it was released before the film came out so it could have been used in it. Watch the flick, compare the song, and you'll crap your pants at the parallels.
@sakituminow Neither do I, just wondering if my mental balance will be able to swallow it (besides the highest probability of not having a dime -cent in our continent- in the fuckin' near future!)
Love Liza, my favourite movie of all time. Hoffman best actor around today! another cool movie is Dream with the Fishes, great performance form david arquette. check it out if you havent seen it yet!
Well it damn well should have been. I could literally feel the shivers running along my spine while I watched. I don't think I can relate to the kind of grief in this movie or even the song but I still felt it really strongly. Good job man
I've experienced suicide in my family and it sucks so can relate.

Shit, that intro gave me chills as soon as the track started playing.
It's been said before (especially when referring to 'Thumbsucker'), but Elliott's tracks can fit in nearly EVERY film.
(xo), Stephen Smith.

Lovely job mymayapapaya, thanks for this!!
James Cameron, Peter Jackson, et al are constantly afforded mindless reverence for routinely making trite shite.
That Todd Louiso could make such a perfect movie and remain a relatively unknown director is just nuts. A sad allegory of how silly the world is.

this movie is amazingly deep, one of my favorites of all time i think, maybe,..
it was sad to notice as he was opening
"the letter",.. he was still wearing his
wedding ring. Elliot Smith over this clip
adds brilliant touch (especially when
you know his story)..... thanks
