i have been thinking about reading the selfish gene, but i don't think i need to, because i already understand the concept so well.
i want to learn more about human evolution and the major transitions, mostly for its own sake, i want to be able to answer questions about life if someone asks me.
@SoftWarewolf It's really worth reading and imagining him as a young fellow writing during the miner's strike in the early '70s. SG is not about atheism or religion, more about altruism. It has even been compared with Origin as a popularisation of a scientific notion.

The host asked some tricky questions but helped him out on a sitter which he nearly missed - she's not so bad.
