It's a hoax. The audio was analyzed and parts are identical which were supposedly coming from another part of the world. I think the audio sample are from the movie "war of the worlds." I'll bet if someone did a spectrum analysis of these horn-like sounds - compared to the audio in war of the worlds, they would match.
