MTR is faster, easier and cheaper from the Mining companies perspective. It is all about the bottom line, the almighty dollar. I understand that. While I do care what the mountains look like, my gravest concern is what effect MTR has on the people who live near the mines? Mountain tops can be reclaimed to a certain extent, but human lives and their health can not.
