That's a back protection, and yes it gives a lot of protection. I almost never board without it! It's not that cheap, but i prefer protection above the hospital ;)

Thx Bosqu005, it did took a while :P but's thats maybe because i am really inpatient. I guess it was 2 halfdays of filming and editing.

But it really was fun to do ;)

That's a Back protection. It's used a lot in snowboarding, motorbiking and other sports. Especially designed to safe your back during a fall. google this(pictures): "Dainese back protection"
