I have never heard of Musashi before but I love it, especially with Radio Head. The concept of a spirit hunter woring in a small backwoods town is amazing. Especially when you consider he finds things that surpirse him. I love this video and the anime is truly one of quality. Keep doing stuff like this.

Radiohead and Mushishi <3 I love you for this! XD Mushishi is probably the best quality manga I have ever read. I didn't bother finishing Naruto and Bleach manga and the like cause they just dragged it on and on, too much of it to be very good =oP and my touchpad and laptop messed up so I didn't finish my previous comment which ended with "quality over quantity" Also I really love the style and art of this Manga. Looking for the anime now and the live action movie. :D

i think the reason why shows like Mushishi aren't as well known as shows like Naruto (as an example, no specific hate towards narutards i'm sure...), is that most anime "fans" don't really care about quality. I mean, its fine if the only reason you care about a genre is so that you can have a club named after it and feel special, but honestly, there is so much more that this medium can show and so long as those are the people who make up the majority, Mushishi will be a rare exception.

Every episode is a nice story. Its (almost) always about a supernatural thing happening because of the mushi and how to get rid of it or live with it. Cause sometime, the cost is great and it doesn't always turn out as expected....

it really gets philosophical like is the well being of the village is worth the death of 1 person each year as a sacrifice.

In the end, its about accepting problems as part of life but still fighting if something can be done to save a life.

If you like xxxholic(I LOVE), then you might like this. In the vid it looks like xxxholic a lot, but its a quieter series, and there isn't a plot. Its just ginko(the guy) travels around helping people with mushi-related problems. Ginko is awesome. And you can watch the dubbed version on hulu. travis willingham does ginko well.

Can't believe I never commented on this before . . but I watched this back the first time it was up and I have to say that it got me into both Mushishi and Radiohead. Now I just need to buy the last 3 dvds of anime and the last volumes of the manga . . I've gotten way to far behind on them

Absolutely beautiful-- 5 stars. If only every anime was as masterfully executed as Mushishi; even the likes of Naruto wouldn't have half as much negative feedback if that were so. (At least the manga still has a good bit of dignity.) I must say that Radiohead's music could go well with virtually anything. You did complete justice to both Mushishi and Radiohead with this video. :)

Oh myyyy....how beutiful...how glorious!. This series...it always seemed like a fairytale for adultes...nad this song was based of fairytales as well. Everything about this song and this series was meant for each other and the timing as well as choice of scene was good. What could have been done to add a great twist would be to match movement to the feel of the song. This isn't quite timing...but close.
