Great playing man. One my favorite Purple songs. Story goes that Ritchie first heard the riff on a short wave radio. I like the way you threw in that Morse style he likes to do changing tone with the volume knob.

Hey Hey! I was looking for some Deep Purple covers. I found that yours. Pretty Nice. You seem to be one of the only people who can plug their effects processor into the line in. Your sound is clear and we can HEAR the whole song. Pretty wicked shredding... Not exactly Blackmore's style but nonetheless, Very Nice!

I've plugged my effects processor into the line in but I used the stereo output of my soundcard for this record. In this way I needn't to mix the 2 voices (guitar and backing track) together. BTW: I don't prefer a style of one of the guitarists from Deep Purple. In the meantime I got my own style which is a mix from Blackmore, Morse and Michael Angelo Batio.

i know that Yegwie Malmsteen has made a tribute to this song. other then that just this guy here and he does a very nice job too.
